    Good!
I am not into customisations.. Sorry I like to keep the bike in stock condition barring few customisations which improve the comfort like what you have planned now for the foot rest. Unicorn is a great bike, does well what it is supposed to do. Enjoy it the way Honda has made it. I haven't ridden a bike that is refined and smoother than unicorn in my life

      Yeah for customization..

1.The front number plate can be fixed with clamp so that it is more visible and look better. On stock it can't be seen properly. check clamp of passion pro, splendor, glamour, hunk

      2. Turn indicators of hunk/glamour will look good on unicorn without robbing the classic style.

After so much struggle today i had a chance to fix the hunk's footrest bracket on the uni

as said it was not a simple job but, if u had clear image of what your doing and if u have a professional person who knows about the machine then it is not that hard .
But i have to accept after changing it had put a wide smile on my face its now more fun to ride our uni with this riding position
        the problems i faced are
1.as v all know that gap between the battery cover and the footrest bracket .

2.we have to alter some parts to fit in there like the silencer /exhaust cover .u have to definitely cut the marked part in the image .then only the brackets sits in there good and then in the same part u have to shave the exhaust cover mounting also then only the brake pedal gets a ample amount of space

        3. The plastic cover above the gear lever also needs some alterations .u have to cut some excess plastic so that the bracket fits in

4.the cam between the brake pedal and the brake rod needs to be shaved

5.the brake pedal return spring of the uni doesn't fits in tight ! u need to cut some turns in the spring to fit (looking forward to change the spring that fits perfectly without any alterations ) if any one knows which one fits plz tell

        6. i didnt change the brake rod of the uni ! (if you are changing then its fine ) if not the brake cam has to be adjusted since the uni's brake rod is too long

still haven't changed the handle bars ! .. don't know what challenges it has for me !
but seriously have to accept the riding position is great after the changes ! worth the pain ..Click image for larger version

You need to change rear swing arm bushes also. Bushes will cost you around ₹200. So total ₹2200 for shock absorber+ ₹200 for bushes and around ₹200 as labour.

Thanks. 2200 is for an OEM part price if bought from their service centres? And is this a DIY job? Haven't been able to find any blog/vid for this.

I bought it from outside spare parts shop. Its MRP was ₹2398.
Changing rear shock is a pretty straightforward task given you have the right tools. Only tricky part would be changing the swingarm bushes as it could be slightly stuck.

Problem is, am yet to find a competent mech since I moved to hyd. Nitwits try to rip off every chance they get. Had to literally argue with 1 recently, when I asked them to change the fork oil seals even though there was no leakage. Something I do every 2 yrs. As if they are doing it for free or doing a favour by taking a labour charge.

The main bolts are a 10mm of the joints. Will have a look if I can do it myself.

Can this be done just with offset wrenches or are T handle sockets required anywhere for this?

A box or T spanner is required as the swingarm nut resides in a small indent.

                                Hi,

I have honda trigger approx Run 13000 km. But facing a issue , exactly at 22 kmph I am getting vibes near foot pegs. It is something like rubbing some kind of friction vibration kind of sound.

searched for tyre scarping marks but couldn't find any. also in first gear when i peak up the bike its sound like it will be switch off since accelration loose the grip from engine .. you have to give some extra race to pick up your bike,,,which make me irrirate, its sound like giving more race and petrol than normal. also when bike pickup then i could not take pick up more than 10 to 12 km then bike lost its pickup even if you give more race it will not take pick up .. you have to change gear immediate to 2 and same thing go till 22 to 25 km .. its sound if you try to race more its give engine loan sound than at 3rd gear thing get smooth ..
but giving not pick up at 1st gear ?
more race while picking up bike ?
and vibraration sound at 22 km either at slow down ?

really making me so irrirate, planning to sale my bike
well i had just clear 13000 km bike has superb power at 3 and 4 th gear and its run like superb its can overtake so many bike while driving at 3rd or 4 th gear

for for other 3 problem i need solution
does any one have solution for this

Also can you ask your friend whether he faced similar kind of problem

i think best choice is honda unicorn
i have driven and used so many two wheeler segments
                                from bajaj, tvs, kawarski
but i never got the smoothness and comfort in unicorn
                                that is unbeatable
at 37000 km i have spend only money towards only oil and once change break pad
                                that its
and so afar i can run my bike at the speed of 70 in fraction of second
i think unicorn is costly part wise , price wise ... but its always ahead in performance

                                than final your choice
