My speedometer wire is stuck !!! Its a 20 days old bike, and witnessed the rains just twice, today was the second time, and it was drizzling ! How the hell did this happen ? HELP !

Hi All,
I'm posting this query for my friend who is having unicorn 2012 model.
He is doing bike service from Saphire Honda (RV road, Bangalore).
So far he has done 2 services from there. He is not happy with their service & the bike is too rough than it was when he brought. He would like to change the service center. Can anyone suggest which is best Honda service center in Bangalore.---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had booked a new cb unicorn last month. I will be getting my bike in another 5 7 days....So i just wanted to know what all things to look out at the time of delivery.....and what are the precautions to be taken for initial few weeks....

Does anyone here know the customer care mail id for Honda bikes.
One of my friend would like to register a complaint against the dealer.
Like for TVS bikes there is a mail id to which you can send mails regarding issues & they will call you back and give assistance.

The speedo issue was resolved the same day after riding for a few kms. Though i find a lil lag now, or its just psychological.Originally posted by BlackPanther View Post

She goes for her first service on 17 July. Calculated the average after filling up half tank of fuel. Came to about 42-45. Decent considering the run in.

No way ill fall to their gimmicks, already got her a wax anyway. Just going to get the seat cover if possible, honda had a good quality laminated one. And engine flush for a 500 kms run bike.. haha what do these guys think we are.
Don't plan to get the bike washed either, they're surely gonna leave swirl marks on the new paint. She's anyway clean and as good as new.
Will address the speedo issue though. Lets see how it goes, plan to wait there and get it done, how much ever time it takes

Has Anyone tried shell 10w40 semi-synthetic oil in Unicorn?
Is it worth than the oil used in service centers?
Also could anyone tell what is the oil grade used in honda service centers.
Is it mineral or semi-synthetic oil?---------------------------------------------------------------------------
