well with your light front and back problem I think not sure the fuse is making some problem here. Just go to a asc tom or when ever it is convenient to you and show them your problem. Just I want to make sure are u using stock or any hid or something else. If stock company will help u out. Don't worry.click me

Hi friends i am new to this forum and i own 2011 unicorn. 8798KM done on the ODO
i have series doubts regarding the bike. For the past month my bike is capable of giving only 46 KMPL which is quite low compared to 52 KMPL the month before. Even after servicing the mileage is still the same. the my bike is producing tappet noise with is a bit annoying. the people at the service center say that it will gradually rise . they have changed the air filter and spark plug. even my bike idling has become erratic now a days . and the bike tends to track towards right hand side causing heavy pain the local mechanic said that the forks are bent and needs servicing but the people at honda could not find the problem. they just say that somethi9ng is problem with my psychology. is it possible for me use my warranty as i have never made a single accident till date. the mechanic said it may be due to incompetent spare part .
I am unaware the adjustments being made to rectify that so pls help me i think the people at the service center are just conning my moneyLast edited by yuvaprasad25; 01-04-2013, 12:08 AM.

Thanks, actually i was trying to do something on my own. Jerking how to stop it?
Even after installing the Ngk irdium spark plugs still I am facing the jerking or I should say no fuel feeling above all the tank in full 10 ltrs. I wonder what honda has done to there bikes. The confidence in overtaking makes me shit scared. To do it as when u open the throttle not much little bit everything is ok but a bit more that jerk Jerk thing starts it is so dam annoying man but as u cross the 3250 rpm mark and speed above 35 in 3rd gear everything is smooth what is this guys need help here. Has anyone out there done some r&d on this or has there problem solved please share with me guys otherwise I have to get red of the bike as my life is very important.click me

since you have changed the filter also, i suggest you try fuel from a different bunk (after of course emptying the current tank), and if you can, get a mech at the svc to open and clean you carb jets and retune it. Also check if any of the fuel lines or air supply pipes/tubes are 'pinched'/damaged.

Hello guys , My cousin owns a 2010 Black Unicorn..25000 on odoRun in and maintenance are done adequately good..He has a problem of low acceleration , Air filter & spark plugs are new and OE.Recently carb was tuned... So My query is ..Is carb cleaning required before tuning ????

Thanx to all the problem has been solved I got the carborator fully opend got it cleaned properly all the points which were here been said by u all also got them checked and cleaned now the bike is running in a perfect condition. I have regained my old machine. Atleast that scare thing of overtaking is no more there. I love it.Thanx guys for the helpclick me

1) I'm on my way to purchase a CB unicorn same color as arjunb25 [RED]. I find dealer's are giving additional accessories such as Taflon Coating, Under Coating, Griper, Extended Warranty etc. Anyhow know is it worth having them since its a new bike itself and it would already have TC and UC. Also anyone still using Buzzer
2) Please recommend me any extra' tweaks to be done to get most out of it.
3) I'm looking for a Helmet full with flip off, any advice. Thanks

Taflon is nothing but wax, no dealer uses real tuflon,whats that??,Under Coating, not needed according to meGriperOnly useful if you are going to do all your services regularly under that particular dealerExtended Warrantyetc. Anyhow know is it worth having them since its a new bike itself and it would already have TC and UC. answer: taffloan coating is bullshit which the dealer gives rather after purchasing the bike get a formula 1 wax from the market with a soft cloth do it yourself it will be more beneficial For the bike. They don't do correctly rather charge and make money out of it.
Extended warranty: that is a good option as u never know what goes wrong with the machine in the later stages Atleast u have a backing with you a good thing to keep it for emergencies. Go for it.
Buzzer: don't put it. Not worth it. Its up to you

Answer : nothing just enjoy the ride and don't go beyond 4000 rpm for the first 1000 km be in limits for the run in change the first engine oil at 350km 2nd engine oil at 600km 3rd engine oil at 1000 and last 4th one finally at 1500km from out side not from the dealer. I did the same. Used moto 4 gold 20w40 mineral oil or gulf pride 4t plus 20w40.

answer: helmet hmmm well u can go for studds full face ryno very good for city riding and for over all use.
Flip on: well u have options like vegas boolean, studds 2g, 3g helmets go and check them out I use both boolean as well as studds.
I have done 4500 km till date loving every bit of it.
Also when u take the dilvery of the vehicle for the first 2km the bike will give u jerking feeling or no fuel feeling don't worry everything will be ok. I had the same problem but later on I had to finally go and get my carborator open and cleaned everything now my bike rocks and getting 55km/ltr average in city.click me
