  • @mid Under coating similar to Taflon something to do with under the seat area's !
    you mean these right:
    1)

    2)

@arjunb25 Thanks I'll check out check out studds, I hope it has a uv-protected visor inside to be put down anytime. How did you check the mileage full tank or on 2litr reserve? And please recommend me the way how you'll check the mileage or to put an external device I need to put in order to get the mileage reading.

ps: I heard the Headlamps are pretty low compared to a pulsar 150 is it true? Did you did any mod yet?
And with acessories also include parking cover and seat cover(3 years warranty).

    • Well for checking the average I fill full tank 13.75 ltrs when it comes to reserve I again fill her with 13.75 ltrs and I get the answer. At the time when as she come to reserve I get her full then not the reading when again I come to reserve I calculate the reading and get my answer according to that.

Yes for studds they have started giving 2 visors in it. Check it out same as boolean.

      • Guys need help! my friend has a unicorn and he is planning to change his tyres since the stock tyres are 4 years old.He wants better grip than stock so I suggested him to go for pirelli sport demon 110 for the rear and same MRF for the front. But I am hesitating to push him for the change since the stock rear tyre is of tuff-up type.Any suggestions? I mean is it possible to install the tuff-up tube when he upgrades to pirelli?

For all you know, it could be just the rings that might need replacement. Have you got this suggestion for replacement of the entire block from an experienced mech? 20K kms is too short a lifetime for the block.

              • So, recently I purchased a Unicorn. Is it possible to change headlight? Like from 35W to 55W bulb? or any other good bulb in 35W category?

also, i plan to use pulsar dual horns on it? as i dnt like unicorns single horn. is it ok/

                Thanx
                :) :D

                • I think this thread is the most laziest of all.. Unicorn is in market for more than 10 years and only 202 pages..

Either the wing riders are not active or busy being a wing riders or Uni is the perfect ride and nothing much can be done to it..

Well... Im gonna join the Uni club in couple of days.. hope I can get enough support from fellow wing riders.

you can use a 55w bulb but you have to make a headlight connection from the battery ie, slight change in wiring

also the dual horn of pulsar can be fitted directly but i will advice you to add a relay for good responsive horn

You are right about pulsar dual horns
                        but not about bulb
go for hid kit. but, sometimes it may ruin your reflector

best of luck on your new bike.

                          NOW I am interested!

Ok, so for directly powering the headlight by the battery, will the 7ah stock battery suffice? I have zero knowledge in electricals, so I need help with that. Anybody to direct me to a good mech for this? My regular mech knows but won't touch it. Dunny why.

I had tested years ago, which was a failure
                            then I switched to Xenon

yes the 7 amp battery is sufficient to run your 55w bulb but wiring should be done properly!
i even have r15 which also has headlight powered directly from battery and its battery is only of 3.5 amp ,so it will be no problem with your 7amp battery!
