See w w w . P l a n e t d s g . c o m for tank pads, and if u wanna install a projector or hid on a uni u have to first do recoiling and DC conversion and install a higher capacity 9ah battery for best performance , see the video I posted, the projector looks pretty good.Originally posted by CODER View Post

Done 200 km
What an experience I am getting with this ss engine oil good going. The bike is more smooth and light in pick up wise the bike is like a rocket. when crossing 60 is like a peace of cake and more over the smoothness after that is like superb the gear shifts are very nice. No doubts about that.
For Motul u mean I should go back to mineral oil?
20w40 no ways its like putting a blood in a lions mouth for ss 10w40 I will never go back.
More over I don't keep vehicles more than 1.5 years. So in 2014 I am planning for bajaj Avanger.click me

Hi Arjun, No doubt it is very good oil and I have used it in my Unicorn as well. Now I am using Veedol super swift 10W40 in my ride and it is fantastic oil for Unicorn.Originally posted by arjunb25 View PostWhat an experience I am getting with this ss engine oil good going. I told you it was a good oil ! My advice, stick to this oil as long as you have this bike with you.Originally posted by arjunb25 View PostWhat an experience I am getting with this ss engine oil good going. the gear shifts on the unicorn are generally very smooth and i think you are not doing it right.. maybe u need to get some practice to get used to the unicorn gearbox. But then, you can very well use the Shell AX7 10w40, its one of the best oils in its category/grade. And it will last 2000km easily! change it at around 2500km.Originally posted by CODER View PostUsing Honda Engine Oil now, the gear shift are jammed sometimes. I'll change it to some other Oil on the next service maybe what arjun is using now Shell 4T. How long will it last 1200kms or less ?

I'm certain its not a due to my improper shifts, but rather with the oil or due to it being quiet new(3 months). Anyhow I have decided to try Shell AX7 10w40 next timeOriginally posted by s1d View Postthe gear shifts on the unicorn are generally very smooth and i think you are not doing it right.. maybe u need to get some practice to get used to the unicorn gearbox. With that long km is simply awesome. Thanks
--btw what is the cost of it and is it costlier than Motul 3000 20W50?

i think it now costs around 350rs not sure though. And I would advise sticking to a xxW40 (xx= 10,15 or 20) oil on the unicorn (in fact this is the perfect grade for most bikes here in India).Originally posted by CODER View Post--btw what is the cost of it and is it costlier than Motul 3000 20W50?

Re: Honda Unicorn
Its not tubeless as I have spokes rims, I upgraded from stock 3.00X18 to 100/90 18, its a major improvement over stock, its like I'm glued to the road dry and wet grip is amazing. It costed rs 2100 with tube but u can get it for cheaper if u look around more shops.Originally posted by CODER View Postlooks nice, is it tubeless? how's the grip now compared to stock MRF? And how much did it cost you?
