    1. Gears are really soft and smooth. No effort needed.
    2. The bike is really heavy and myself at 6'3 and 120 kg (of muscle) finds it difficult to manage this bike since it is heavier than me.
    3. Honda dealer has taken money for Crash Guard but has not installed it yet, promised to install it at first service.
    4. The seat height is rather high and my father who at 5'4 or 5'5 finds it difficult to mount the rear seat. Hopefully the suspension can be lowered to make it more comfortable for him.
    5. After graduating from scooter and that too after such a long lag, the foot gear system in bikes poses a few tricks for me. For example it is difficult for me to figure out whether gear in second or third when I upshift from neutral. Sometimes the gear skips one probably due to my lack of subtlety in changing.

Always wanted a good Japanese commuter bike for reliability and hopefully this bike will be good for that. Also plan on having a 'fun' bike for weekends and 'soft racing' still not decided on what that would be, whether it should be a Yamaha R15 or Karizma.

    Photos to be updated shortly.

    thankyou

Two step seat -- at least that's what I could make out from the pic.

Should say, you are strong guy for a Unicorn , donna worry you should be able to tame it very easily... Its a matter of time
Then, being 5'6" with 64kgs weight, I shouldn't even think of getting a Unicorn ... not even in dreams

                    • Kushal, I will post those snaps tom.

btw the entire biking experience with this bike is too smooth, it sometimes feels that I am riding some kind of Japanese Toy motor, not that I have had much experience with other bikes, but still. Hope the good experience lasts.

Can someone tell me which side does the unicorn tend to lean naturally, which is the heavier side etc.

Throttle response is something I'm not satisfied with at least in the low gears. The vehicle stalls easily if I do not keep it slightly revved, I am not able to keep bike moving with minimal throttle application like I remembered in my 2-stroke. Probably it is my lack of experience with 150cc 4-stroke carburrated bikes. And this is how it is with these bikes.

One of my neighbours who is a splendor-rider and at around 5'6 refused to take delivery of my Unicorn. He seemed spooked at operating such a heavy bike.

Also another factor is the width of the seat which may create doubts in shorter riders.

                        • @Almondnine: Where did you get the ladies grip fitted mate ?
In one of your snaps, its visible. How much did it cost ?
Im unable to find one here in Bangy and some specific details would help me in finding one.
                          TIA

                          Cheers !

                          • Maverick, I ordered the entire optional accesseries list that the dealer was offering. So that ladies grip came along with that. Crash guard ityaadi is yet to be fitted for lack of availability, but has been paid for. They have promised to do so at first service. Cost I will check the receipts and post.

                            Ladies Grip: 168.99

                            + tax @12.50 + Surcharge 0.21

                            190.21

btw one good thing about Honda is that nothing is free .. including the number plates. Nice folks.

You'll appreciate the Honda quality as you ride the Uni. Does come at a premium though.
