All okay except logo, its for Rs 10. BTW why did you lube the chain for additional Rs 150 when you purchased the can in the first place. Keep the bills for warranty purposes, good practice.

Guys please tell me which is the best service center for Yamaha in Pune. I know variyan motors is nearby to my place, but dont have any idea how good their work is. It would be great if any one can share a review of their work and pricing please.

          Thanks

Go to Monarch Auto or Suvarnarakha.... Galti se bhi dont go to YFS as you will be ripped with taxes and all.

Nice observation, this pic was taken before buying. So no idea. But it caught my attention as well. I had asked the owner what it was he said some water seepage after a wash. Before buying went to the service and checked it thoroughly. No problem was found so I let it pass. Now there is no mark.

That's not exactly true as per my experience with the other SVCs you mentioned.
YFS doesn't extra charge for everything, they put the better chain lube(original Yamaha one) so the price is also higher. For the rest i.e. engine oil,oil filter....prices are same across the SVCs.

I was charged service tax for chain lube and chain cleaning. Whether legally it is charged or not i do not know, at MOnarch or Suvarnareka iam not being charged those taxes, saving 120Rs which is quite much.

Agreed on the part of taxes at YFS. And For Suvarnrekha, I did 3 out of total 9 of my SZ-R services from Suvarnrekha Yamaha Karve Nagar. Pretty good I must say, the owner / service head is very good guy and also the other people working along there are good too. Once they know you properly they would give preference for urgent work on your bike. (Personal experience), I broke the gear pin of my bike, gave it to Suvarnrekha at 3 PM and got it at 7 PM without any hesitation they worked and gave me bike completing required work. Second instance, swing arm greasing for my SZ-R, labor Charge was Rs. 80/-, YFS have much higher charges than this.

990rs! A lot for chain maintenance,
what if we buy other chain lube and ask them to use, which will save 150 bucks,
will it have a problem with warranty.

                            • My v2 had lots of vibrations and the sound was like piston scratching against cylinder without oil.
Yesterday cleaned my air filter and increased the idle RPM from 1.2K to 1.5K and voila vibrations gone completely and the bike feels butter smooth.

                              Inference :
R15s used to run on leaner fuel ratio if the Idle rpm is low.
This causes the bike to vibrate more.

Precisely my point, yes they cater to your needs in time. Dada (owner) use to run a Bajaj SVC there before and since that time they have had a good rapport with the customers.
