may be, if those are available. i heard you can setup the gear shift light and also the gear umber indicator. but dont know about the other things.

Went in for 2nd service center today. They said that my AIS was not working properly, that is why i was getting wierd sounds when bike was cold and probably some pick up loss. It is under warranty but they can only order part after 5th Jan. They said it won`t effect anything. Just wanting to check you you guys, weather i should continue riding my bike (100 km/ week) or should i avoid riding it t ill the system is changed.

Also, after service , he changed oil, and once we started bike, there was white smoke comming out of exhaust. He said its because of the oil change, Is that normal ?

When the bike goes between 5k to 6k rpm suddenly the sound from the engine changes. Its something like rattling or knocking sound, but the performance is stable with zero vibrations. Is it similar for your bike?

Before the lavasa ride my bike had completed 1100kms and servicing was also done. I am worried coz I went climbing the ghats at 50 to 60kmph speeds, changing gears and taking pickup suddenly at steep climbs. Does it hamper a new engine even when it has completed 1100kms of proper breakin?

Helmet : SOL Unicorn II - 5.5K INR
Glove : DSG Revive - 2.2K (belongs to abhi, he was not riding to goa so i used it) i usually use Knighthood (got it for free with the helmet. half glove, good. but buying a full glove yer soon.
Knee Gaurds: A* kevlar. dont know the proper product name, abhi had ordered it. - 2.7K
Jacket: DSG Nero - 5.5k
Bag: which bag you talking about? the one i wear or the tank bag? that tank bag is dirstsack forester, belongs to abhi (2.5K i guess ) . i usually take the Wildkraft (blue one)

i had answered somewhat similar question some posts back, was it for you?

its normal man. the engine note changes in lower, mid and high rpm range, love that high ones though

Even i feel the awkward noise when it is on 1,2,3rd gear under 4krpm. and specialy when the engine is warm.
that feels like tvs star city exhaust sound.
what is AIS???
