actually it wont affect much if its once. if it happens repeatedly then yes it will happen. usually the potholes will be of more impact then the bumps.

          R15 V2 chain sprocket kit - 1 Chain, 1 Rear Sprocket & 1 Front Sprocket - Rs 1478 + Fitting charges - Rs200 + Chain Lubing - Rs 100 = Rs1778 this is the cost in Suvarnarekha Automobiles

Rs 2558 is the cost in Monarch Automobiles, Tilak Rd just confirmed 5mins back, add another Rs200 for installation. This is so weird, because Suvarnarekha is a subsidy of Monarch auto since they have too much load they transfer bikes to this SVC.

I remember couple of months back the same issue had happened for the Ninja 250R where the Bajaj PBK had quoted Rs11,000 for Chain Sprocket kit where Rolon, had tried and tested their product and were offering for Rs8,000.

I called up Nesan but number is coming busy, I'm uploading the number )(*%)&(#$*^ Please try calling and let me know too. Nesan works for ROLON. Also, if the prices are changed or having duplicate products its better the SVC name and number are highlighted in the coming posts so that we can avoid them in future.

@Teejay could you please update me the prices with installation costs in your area, please call two to three SVC.

          • My personal experience with Suvarnarekha Automobiles has been super bad, the service guy there just wanted to get all my parts changed and not at all worried about my problems.
and everything seemed a bit, well, weird, even the spare shop seemed like a local shop. My personal experience only.
and post service, well i had to take the bike to my personal mech to get it back in shape just after a week.

We can drop an email to yamaha to get the base price may be and then have expectations set. I'll stick with YFS in Pune.

But it is the same even when driving the bike is going straight but the handle bar when looked down is in a abut turn position. I was dying to get the 1st service done and take my bike to g2g as I don't have many friends and also the couple I know have nothing to do with bikes.

I hope I don't have to live with this.
Avoid getting it repaired, get the handle bar changed, they will do it free of cost.
You will have friends and can join G2G as well. Don't worry, without falls there is no getting up.

I am not sure if this is a valid question in context of FI engines.

            • Neither am I, but as the initial rpm can be altered by some sort of adjustment as written in manual, there has to be some kind of air fuel mixture ratio.

That is controlled by ECU in our machine and not manual through an AFR screw as in carb engines. Hence, FI.

Yes, Idle RPM can be adjusted. There is a screw on the right side of bike just below that black carbon fibre part.
But you need a longer screw driver than the provided in our tool kit to do that. Go to SVC and adjust if needed.

Not sure of the brand. If you go for SMD they are super bright starting from 150 bucks a pair. higher the SMD higher will be the price.
The ones I fitted were cheap ones not the smd types. Normal white LED's ( one single LED mounted on the holder.total crap). bombay scooters is reliable but the thing is they are not sure whether they have the stock or not. When i went to get the pilot's changed he showed me the 10smd thing 150 a pair.. the very next day I went to actually buy them he said we dont keep the smd type pilots. :O
