I think PSD is more expensive than the stock.

      Long time since been here.
Completed 24K today. Going for second change of air filter and spark plug, thought of Iridium this time but again not in budget.
Done with all the greasings scheduled. All cables changed. No as such problem with the ride, as good as it can be, inspite of all the high performance asked for.

Sad State of SVC's : Went to three different SVC, all told me that the previous one had not press fitted the 'T' properly and they all did that wrong again.
Finally am getting the nut bolt work done at CBZ Pune, old p180 relationships coming in handy.

I am very tempted for ninja 300 though as at times v2 feels a lot underpowered but economin contraints are holding back.
Might go for some performance mods after the warranty of 30K. Let's see.

Few posts back someone was asking on front brake being spongy and they were suggesting a method to tie the brake overnight.
I tried that and voila, it worked. Noticable difference in the morning. Good to see knowledge sharing like that.

Nothing so difficult, just ziptie the brake lever by pressing it as much as you can (careful dont do too much ) and tighten the zip tie. Leave it overnight and cut the zip tie next day morning and leave it for 15 min, dont punp it(some time is needed for air bubble to rise to reservoir)Test drive and you'll feel the difference. Simple and effective
Note: for max result bleed after zip tying

Same version, I just used a plastic rope instead.
Would go for bleeding as well, of all things, front braking is the only thing that I have noticed to degrade compared to when the ride was young and wild.
Got the cylinder head replaced as well, but still, now I have to assess if it will stop as expected or not unlike the earlier days when I go could bet on it.

Which results in hopes of getting daytona version of front disk instead, anyone tried it yet, any reviews, it's 8K I suppose.

lol my bad, i misunderstood that when tj told me thanks for correcting it. its (PSD) almost 4k for the rear tyre. and stock its 2.5k. but he said he didnt like it much.

The problem which you are telling its not the same one. Its something else for sure. I guess it has handle bar play and when i push the shocks in it makes more two kind of noises. And upon that i just now noticed that my handle is slightly aligned towards right side.

                  1. Do you get a kat-kat sound when you brake hard or just after landing from a speed breaker ?
                  2. Did you tried shaking the front forks, with the bike on main stand and felt if it is loose ?

I guess you have a steering play problem, go to svc, not a big deal. they should be able to handle it.

Slight correction. My apprehension for recommending the PSD is just because of the price. I personally dont think it is worth the premium (almost 1.5k more) over stock. I would anyday choose the PSD over stock if both of them cost the same or if the PSD is only slightly more expensive (300 to 400 bucks at the most) based on the grip levels and cornering friendliness offered by the PSD.

that would be part of fixture, don't worry. They will just align and tighten the steering.

PSD is heavier than stock, your take on that ? Observation in acceleration ?

Tip - Shift gear at 4,000rpm respectively and then move towards three digit speeds slowly, remember you are not in a race so a gradual acceleration would help the motor to burn fuel efficiently.

Lol, I did but you were busy on some Watsapp group! :P

Where are you getting the demon from? its the best that can fit your ride. If possible change front and rear tire at the same time. PSD on a Ninja 250r lasts around 13-15k kms, on the R15 it should be more because of the power generated at rear wheel is less than the Ninja.

Pls mention costs and place of purchase if possible.

                          Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestion, I heard that it should be the best for V 2.0 just wanted a second opinion I surely will post the price n place of purchase as soon as I get my hands on it. I'm planning to do a South trip in Oct so probably change it in mid June. I'm not sure about the front one cos that is still in amazing condition but definitely do the rear one

I cant shift below 6k, just cant. Efficiency reduced from 45 to 35 when I used to shift around 4k under first 500 kms.

Exactly, in run-in period, 4K is fine.

But after that, you should not actually, it has to be atleast 6K.
Believe me, after some time, you would love to shift @ 9K and above only.

Mine @ ODO 23K+ Kms and I love the grunt and torque it provides @ Higher RPMs.
