Not normal. Go immediately at SVC. Do not ride at higher rpms till you reach SVC. Do call them before going there, explain the problem on phone and then go, do as they advise you to do.Originally posted by chiragsthakur View PostCoolant is dripping from the outlet pipe. Is it normal?sigpic

No no i didnt say anything is wrong in it. my point was that its good to have knowledge about the bike, but adjusting anything should be done at svc so that you dont goofup. thats al. the chain slackness is not something you adjust after every ride, as you know, so it sould be done when its needed only and who will know it better then the SVC guys.Originally posted by krish2778 View PostWhat's wrong in that mate ? I do respect your opinion , but Adjusting chain slackness is a pretty important thing, mostly what we see around in the SVC is that they over tighten the chain and cause premature wear to the drive-train and also ride quality is also affected, if one learns to get the slackness done properly , it's surely a better option. I'd choose doing that myself than running around to the SVC for minor jobs such as these.
Cheers

the road was NICE road. its completely empty till the last tollOriginally posted by siddharthsure View PostRon... Wats the mileage you used to get when you drive like that??? My condition, it's a NH for 25 km but there will be traffic spots here and there and I'll get an open road for 17km approx where I do 75-80 as ppl tend to cross in front of speeding vehicles just like that.. In these conditions daily up and down I get 40 kmpl exactly everytime from the time I got my babe.. So I think if I drive like how you drive I wuld get arnd 35kmpl... Is it good??
i used to use brakes only when i reached the toll. not like usual highway. i used to get between 39-43 that time.
NICE road saquibOriginally posted by saquib3005 View PostDude you did 120

...what time ??????
:P lol
check the user manual. its given there. just the way you will have strength to lift the maximum weight, even bikes have limitations. they will usually give lesser weight as the max weight the bike can handle so that people dont take it for granted. no drawback or anything. its just to protect the bike and the rider. and saquib was talking only about the pillion weight and not the RIder+pillion weight.Originally posted by Shubham@bikez View PostFrom where did you get this Tolerable weight value bro???? So does this mean that if I have a heavy weight pillion with me then the bike's height may decrease permanently??(Correct me if I am wrong).... Isn't this a drawback rather than a good thing????'On the Road that never ends...'

Well, YFS Pune provided 2 Yamaha logo keychains and a free polishing session on the bike. A week later I was present for some Yamaha function there where they distributed mugs to everyone.
I do not know about Bangalore wheels so wont be able to comment on their service. Do check your bike thoroughly for scratches and paint chipping, inspect the tank properly. Ensure the chain is lubed and coolant is present in the chamber along with engine oil. Make sure you do a tankful right after the delivery of the bike, if possible purchase a 3M microfiber cloth to wipe your bike scratch free. Costs around Rs110, you stay in Bangalore so I do not know where there is a 3M store, try visiting a 4wheeler auto shop which provides polishes and all, you might get it there.
Please follow run-in period that is mentioned in the user's manual, ensure the manual is given to you along with first-aid kit and toolbox. Align the mirror properly and it should be tight enough and shouldnt move backwards or forwards with minimal pressure. Inspect the front Visor for scratches, and check for fading also.
Dont forget to click photos during the delivery process, save it since it will be a memory for your lifetime.
Hope this helps.sigpic
