sorry i have no idea. since i have not tried it i dont wanna advise anything. but any kind of change to the stock bike will attract good and bad things. have a good check and do it.

Sorry I misunderstood your post I thought you were fixing it by removing airbox sorry. I didn't used it in R15 but in my ZMA when I used it(rc1060) inside the airbox with cover it only made a very very little difference in sound. I have read some where that conical filter is not recommended for R15. I will try to post the link. It is better to use stock replacement airfilter. But I don't know what kind of sound it will make. K&N and Simota have these stock replacement filter.

Anyway from what I know I won't recommend unversal filters like rc1060.
If you want the K&N roar with your stock filter you can modify airbox cover by drilling holes on it. May be it will become dirty easily. And airflow will be less compared to RC1060 so there wont be a chance of mixture getting lean. Correct me if Iam wrong.

I haven't had the need to top up oil during 2.5 - 3 K usual oil change period, yet. Same should be the case for FS. Yammy don't have oil eating problems.
No as such performance boost, ride feels smoother.
I tried to explain about the location of part as possible in my post, the piece of black metal that holds the fork and is the sole point of contact with the chassis.

okay a big hello to all my fello xbhpians.. i own a beautiful yzf r15 2.0 for last 8 months, and i must say that this forum has been extremely helpful.. all my questions and doubts were answered without evn posting them..

On starting my R15-v2, today morning found that the started button is not instantaneous as it supposed to be.
After pressing the starter button, the starter motor fires only after 1-2 secs delay.
But the moment starter motor fires, engine comes to life in no time and this seems to be absolutely fine. ( Guess no probs with starter motor)

Then is my starter relay has become weak?
What could be the cause of the delay?
