I certainly feel the pulsar 220 is better if your prime concern is performance. But R15 is better on handling . I own a pulsar 220 and would certainly suggest it. But be ready to bear with the poor build quality. IF you want a complete technical comparison between the two, check this out :Yamaha YZF R15 Version 2.0 Vs Bajaj Pulsar 220 F - PlannTo

Dude, how can u compare a 150Cc liquid cooled, fuel injection technology with 220CC oil cooled, carb, and say it is a performance machine ?Originally posted by rinkumathew View PostI certainly feel the pulsar 220 is better if your prime concern is performance. wrong info there its 5kms.Originally posted by siddharthsure View PostIt's bcz u were running in reserve before filling.. The Reserve indicator or F will reset only after running 25kms after filling up.. So it will go to trip once you do 25km after filling up..
If its showing always, I mean even after running 25km then go check your console with the SVC... I think there is no chance for that
Cheers
Please get it with the bike. the sales guys cant do that. they have to give it while you buy the bike and the customer should make sure that you get it at that time. have told this a lot of times before. take care of this.Originally posted by Harish Menon View PostThanks guys! That explains a lot.. I havent received the manual yet! Once I do ill read and follow it religiously!
Cheers guys!
yes you told me thatOriginally posted by saquib3005 View Postrony i am avoiding xbhp profile from 3 yrs after my last incident seems that i have lost the way to handle it too :P
but will be helpful you know
very simple. if you want the power of p220 for below 90K then you buy it. but if you want R15 no matter what for its character and for everything it has then you go the distance to save money and buy itOriginally posted by rinkumathew View PostI certainly feel the pulsar 220 is better if your prime concern is performance. This is ownership thread, so better we ignore replying to anyone's post who doesn't own R15.
They are just to create a scene over here.
BTW, any plan of YRC meet anytime soon, last time missed the GOA one

Hell i got this beast day before yesterday and already received some bullshit comments from Pulsar 200 NS owners... I didn't care for it then and I won't care for it ever. neither at some signal.. nor here..
I am happy with my baby R and I am proud of it..and I will continue being so... and I am sure every R15 owner would share the same feeling...

Superb thing done there! couldnt control your right wrist eh' ? you end up screwing the first 1000km. then the problem starts. low mileage. poorly maintained engine. crazily damaged cylidners. rough ride. low top end. when you know you cannot control why to take to top speed. the main thing which will affect if you cant control is your life. hands have a mind of their ownOriginally posted by Cool-Abhi-Mafia View PostFriends got my sexy baby r motogp edition white-blue delivered yesterday. Will post pics soon.Yesterday i reached till 80.Is it ok to drive it fast.I know that i should not go above 50-60 max as baby is new.But i am unable to control once i open the throttle. Will such speeds will affect anything/mileage in future? Please reply as i am newbie and noob and i have many doubts.
And then everybody starts to doubt the fidelity of this bike with performace and build quality!
Keep Calm and Kaam se Kaam
To all those how-to-run-in-the-bike-oh-it's-so-confusing. Here's an advice.
Read and follow the OWNER's Manual. Keep it simple.. Old School technique will do more good than harm your bike
