BTW, stop worrying about the bike too much man! We know we love our rides too much but the worry should be kept under a check. There are posers who barely service their bikes still they run fine. Bikes are bikes , not some delicate art pieces..
Ya true..But you got to worry when it destorys your Fun.I lost my confidence because of my driving style. So i wasnt enjoying anymore because i was scared. So thank you all for your Tip and i will follow that from now on
And btw Dont take this seriously,Stop posting jokes or stop teasing when some one has problems... It irritates a lot Help if you can or else dont reply if you find it silly.

I am skeptic about giving my swingarm in inexperienced hands. Should I do it at all? I may be wrong, but i think swingarm and steering bearings are not subjected to much movement compared to the wheel bearings. Have greased the wheel bearings at 10,000 km. I wonder whether to totally skip out the swingarm greasing?
          Any say, folks?

Not required. Do it from experienced mechanics only. Stryker is currently on 14,700kms still its swingarm or forks have not been touched. Do it only when it needs servicing.

              - A hsssss… sound is coming from the front wheel. This sound comes even when I move the bike when its off.
              - The left side RVM keeps getting loose… I got it tightened once but it still keeps getting loose.
              - Even when I start the bike after 7-8 hours the radiator fan kicks in immediately.

Could anyone throw some light on the above mentioned issues...
              - You are not shifting properly, engage the clutch completely and then shift, what you are facing happens during start of the day or after a long break.
              - The hisss or ssss sound is of your disc pads, get it checked for SVC.
              - Tight it again, no other solution.
              - Yes it will often, its summers now. Hope you know there is a set temperature after which the fan will kick in. These days expect the fan to come in effect because it is actually HOT outside.

              @all

I have observed some posts of members having the radiator fan kicking in.

SUMMERS ARE HERE SO EXPECT LOT OF RADIATOR COOLING, ENSURE TO TOP UP COOLANT DURING YOUR PERIODIC SERVICE. IF YOU SEE A RED LIGHT ON THE CONSOLE WITH TEMPERATURE KINDLY HEAD TO SERVICE CENTER FOR COOLANT REFILL, ITS JUST A WARNING THAT ENGINE HEATING IS AT ITS PEAK AND THE COOLANT IN THE CHAMBER IS LESS.

The above is in caps so that everyone can glance with proper attention.

-Bro I am 200% sure that I am engaging the clutch completely before a gear shift. I am new to R15 but I have been riding geared vehicles since last 6 years. But yeah, that noise is more when I start the bike after a long break.
                - Your RVM gets loose too??? Does that happen very often???
                - I know its summers and radiator fan will kick in frequently but that fan kicks in the very second I start my bike and that too after a 7-8 hour break… that made me worry about it… that’s all…

Will go to the SVC today itself to get that front disc checked......

Yes after a long break the shifting noise will come.

No, the RVMS are perfect and do not move an inch.

Yes, the minute it reaches that engine temperature it will come into effect. It all depends on your riding style too, frequent acceleration and braking will cause it run more. Just as a safety precaution get your bike coolant level checked, you are visiting the SVC again so suggesting. Tell him to check in front of you so that you are satisfied by its capacity.

                  Yep, disc stuff.

                  • Bro for the gear shift problem always the first solution which comes in mind is handling of clutch. A you are engaging the clutch properly but still the problem persists, do get your clutch wire checked by SVC. Also ask him to tune up and cleanup/grease up your gear paddle. Many times it happens paddle creates problem.
RVMs do get loose in summer season, but dont keep adjusting it oftenly while riding as people do have habit of readjusting it while riding. Also avoid getting the RVM touched by people especially by kids or by people who stand by the vehicle and keeps on touching and twisting the handle bar and RVM.

No need to worry about the radiator fan. As suggested by Eshan, yes it is summer and thus the radiator fan kick starts as soon as you will start your bike. Radiator fans are made sensible enough to adjust in different temperature variants.

I would say grease it as per the recommended schedule mentioned in the owner's manual. Its not that difficult a task. I ignored greasing mine coz of which i had to replace the swingarm bush at a later stage. Strange noises used to come whenever there was some movement in the swingarm. When they finally opened it up, the bush had lost all its groves.

Just came back from the SVC ->

                            1. For Disc sound the mechanic told that I need not worry as that is due to the dust particles getting stuck to the disc.. He poured some disc solution as of now but he told me that the sound will start again in another 20 kms...

                            2. Mechanic told the same thing as pointed out by you guys regarding the radiator fan.

                            3. He oiled the gear lever and told me that still some sound will be there which will go or reduce after the first service.

                            4. He just tightened the RVM and told me that there is no other solution for it and that its a very common problem.
