it's best to take it to the SVC and let the mechanics have a look, they won't charge you for that.Last edited by incipient; 03-14-2013, 01:17 AM.

Hey guys. My account has been finally activated. This is my first post. Am still getting the hang of the tools.
Got my new R15 just about month back - Black and Silver. The engine run in has just gotten over and the first service is due.
Am looking forward on longer drives now that the run in is done.
Cheers

Bro what all documents you got with the bike... I got the following:Originally posted by TeeJayy View PostDid not happen in my case. I was given the exact breakup of the ex showroom price, insurance and tax and later I matched the amounts paid with the respective documents and there were no discrepancies. On top of this, I was charged ~800 bucks for affidavit since my address proof was just my rent agreement.
1. VAT Invoice
2. Road tax receipt
3. E-copy of the insurance
Is there any other document which they haven't given me or something?? and yeah did you guys get any battery warranty card as well...???
Also, what all tools should be there in the toolkit given by them???
BTW I already paid 750 for IND number plates and 350 for the affidavit other than that 1,32,044.....Last edited by Shubham@bikez; 03-14-2013, 03:39 AM.

Owners manual and yes, the battery warranty car/book. These are standard things that you must get with any bike. Also First aid kit and tool set.Originally posted by Shubham@bikez View PostBro what all documents you got with the bike... I got the following:

I hope you followed the procedure mentioned in the manual for checking engine oil level (Bike upright, engine warmed up for a couple of mins, etc). Is the leakage only on the body of the engine or can you see any deposit on the ground underneath the engine area? If the leak is constant, better not risk riding the bike till the issue is fixed cos in either case (engine oil/ coolant) it would harm your engine.Originally posted by siddharthsure View PostGuys... AFA I remember, I got the VAT invoice, receipt for the amount paid, tax receipt (after the bike got registered), insurance copy (almost a month from the date of purchase), owners manual, service booklet, extended warranty booklet.Originally posted by Shubham@bikez View PostBro what all documents you got with the bike... Yes, the battery warranty card was kept under the rear seat. Toolkit should contain a screw driver, couple of spanners, a big and a small alen key atleast.
I think you should go to the showroom and ask them to reconcile the amount you paid and the receipts you got. The difference may be genuine, but they certainly owe you a clarification.

Yes i followed the same procedure..... And its not beneath the engine area. Cant figure out the exact spot but i guess its either from the clutch fork ( Where clutch cable connects to the engine) or from the gear shift lever connection. Mostly its from clutch fork.Originally posted by TeeJayy View PostI hope you followed the procedure mentioned in the manual for checking engine oil level (Bike upright, engine warmed up for a couple of mins, etc).
