oh, i see..the showroom manager knows me well enough, but the SVC being separately located is handled by some other dude and i don't know him or he me...in any case, long time still for the free service period of my bike, so yamalube till then at least..

i had a minor crash 9 days ago, but the handle was slightly angled from before that and after that it didn't get any more or less turned..however, 3 or so weeks ago, i had a situation in which the bike almost fell on its weight to the right while almost standing still and i somehow just managed it, but in the few seconds that i was trying my best to pull it up so as to save it from falling over, i imagine the handlebar was in massive force and torque from my hand...this is the only possible situation that may have turned the handlebar a bit in case it wasn't turned slightly already from the beginning, but then i simply hadn't noticed it before (meaning it might have been there, my eyes just didnt catch it) so it might have been there from day 1 anyway...

want to stick some stickers on mine as well yamaha racing, deltabox and YZF for now (motul, K&N and such maybe later if and when i start using those things in my bike. maybe monster energy as well but not gonna drink that though :P). i wish yamaha wrote YZF on their R bikes by default..will probably be in mumbai for a while in sept, so will go and ask around in performance racing store there and other places if they know where to get good quality waterproof stickers of yamaha racing and YZF. i know it's not entirely unavailable anywhere, as i have seen many people in the internet who have stuck (at least) yamaha racing sticker on their R15s aside from motul etc

Ya!! Its not clear enough!!! And I have Yamaha Racing sticker instead of that huge yamaha sticker at the bottom of the faring. Its custom printed. I mean I downloaded the image and gave it to sticker shop and he printed it

        :O :P

is that waterproof as well ? or you figured, well if rain takes it off at some point, all you need to do is print that up and stick again ?

last week i asked around in one decent sticker shop here that i have been able to find so far in this messy city, but he seemed confused about me asking him if it could be waterproof and if it'd be good enough to be stuck on the bike for many months, if not years, facing dust and heat..most importantly, he was confused as to why do i even want to stick that up on my bike.

AFAIK they will remove them, clean them and grease them, they will bleed out the brake oil n put new one. i am still gathering more info on those O/H part. even i am 100% not sure what all is done. give me few more days i will get back on this.

UPDATE: Got my brakes checked at sprint SVC and they work fine now. Took my bike today morning to Orion Motors SVC to check for handle alignment. He agreed that there is a handle misalignment( first one to agree on that but he also told that its a very minute one) and when I told him about a weird noise that was coming from the bike... He checked and asked me if I gave my bike to service to some local mechanic on road :| ... When I asked him for the reason of saying that... then he told me that something is wrong with the clutch & there is some Engine noise and that they have to open the whole thing and check. What the hell.... Gonna take my bike to BANGALORE WHEELS tomorrow and ask them to set it right... If they dont... well then I guess its time to mail yamaha. Seriously.. Nothing is wrong with the bike as such... but everytime i give it for service... some new thing comes up... .. REALLY ANNOYED !!!!!

oops. BTW opening engine is not good thing. and AFAIk in bangalore the engine can be opened by only BW as they have permission form yamaha to do so.

No no you misunderstood... By opening the whole thing he meant...whole assembly...Not the engine ( I HOPE SO).. See I am not aware that if you have to open a lot of things to check clutch.. But then by his expressions it looked so....Will come to know tomorrow. Just now called up the manager at BW ... he asked me to bring my manual along tomorrow.... Dunno why... He really emphasized on it...

I don't think so. I too got it last week, fixed it myself, costed somewhere around Rs.70. And rear brake pad of Ronnie is Rs.970 compared to Rs.690 here. Dont know if it has increased now.

Guys what will hit first when we go over a hump?? Today I went over a hump made up of some hard sand(Nothing Hard) and something scraped it. Dunno its silencer or the link of the swingarm?? ( U shaped metal attached to spring ) Was scared as it may damage the swingarm if it was kinda hard hit

Note: I dont have center stand/padlock stand installed
