    by the way, how did you come to realize something was wrong in your bike, as in what were the symptoms/sounds/etc ? i assume you then went to the SVC and they told you it was the decompressor valve..am a new rider myself, so just curious to know.

    Regarding the valve problem ... I started hearing this faint tik tik sound from the engine area while the bike was running and I headed straight to the SVC as soon as I heard it and it ended being a faulty valve
    The equation is simple mate,If you can't REDLINE ​it you don't deserve it.

      Did anyone get battery warranty card while getting the bike??
      My bilke has battery problem.
      SVC people told it to contact tata.
      They are asking for warranty card.
      I have that card but on that no where its mentioned the date of purchase or serial number of battery

        Everyone gets battery warranty card.
        Dill you tell them that those numbers arent written ? If not, write it yourself and approach the tata dealer. Svc people find it too lazy to fill them.

            Not just check, go with it and ask them to fill it up if it hasnt been done yet

              Well I dont think they have even given me a battery warranty card..Its just the owners manual & service manual...Will have to check again though..

                    They usually forget that, When asked they say battery wont go kaput in any year, so they dont take it as an important thing. If somethng happens within the warranty period and no warranty card is produced, they say blah blah and will deny you warranty. Usually, due to the happiness and high rev range of your heart while taling the delivery of your beauty, most forget things like this

                      My motogp special edition baby has completed 2 free services and nearly 5400 on odo.So i am now planning to change filter.Shall i go for k&n?Any pros and cons?And any harm?Or shall i go back to stock?Please help guys?

                          Its your right to get it. Its showrooms' responsibility to make it sure they have done everything in order . Sometimes its hard to know that they dont even do the PDI. Ask them, they should give it, or shoot a mail at [email protected]

                              People I guess you guys don't check the thread regularly. I did a lot of research on this matter. Even fought with the Showroom guys for the battery card. They told me that nowadays the bike invoice is used as a proof of the battery warranty and that I need not worry as its a newly purchased bike. I got annoyed by that response and mailed Yamaha motor india & apparently they were aware of all this. However, within a day of that, showroom people called me and gave me a letter stating non availability of the battery card and that the battery warranty will be valid till blah blah ...
                              I have shared all this somewhere in march on this thread.

                                No offence bro. But during March, I wasnt on XBhp..nor did I know that I'd be buying this bike. And I didnt bring up the battery issue. I'd definitely browse the forums before posting.
