You can even check the name "Nissin" to be present on the brake pads you buy.

There is one option with Daytona kit by YAMAHA. It includes big petal disc, steel braded brake lines and new master cylinder. I hope you can buy this setup separately.

Yes, can be brought separately, but v2 brake upgrade which also includes rear brakes' steel braided lines costs a whooping 25k.

              Hey guys!
My account just got approved and I would like to say, that having spent some time on these forums recently I have learned and gathered some valuable information from the members here. So a big thanks!

Just booked the Limited Edition ( Fiery Red). Probably one of the last two in Bangalore. I was hoping if someone could help me date the bike. By that I mean how could one find the year of the bikes manufacturing? Is there a number or some ID on the engine or any other body part of the bike? Also if I need to look for any particulars or specifics while taking delivery of the bike?

It would be helpful just to know these details so that I can be at peace with my purchase.

              Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you actually "thoroughly" read the manual?

The manual recommends 5k till 500km and 7.5k after 500km until 1k km.
Also it doesn't say that you "should not" exceed the specified rpm limits but recommends that you "avoid prolonged usage" over the specified RPM limits and not to go full throttle during run-in (1k km).

As far as I know, the Fiery Red production was stopped in the year 2012. The 4 new colours on the Yamaha India website are the only one that is manufactured in the year 2013.

It's not called fiery red in that case. Its definitely 50th Anniversary Limited Edition which I believe has also been stopped just recently.

Apart from all those colours on their site, I dont think any of the other colours are 2013 manufactured. Better check it out and get an assurement from the dealer.

Yes I will check it out with dealer and get confirmation from him about the year of make. Just wanted to know of there are any indicators about the year of manufacture on the bike itself.

I think LE can be of 2013, as it was in production till the start of this year. But still check for your satisfaction.

Check the pic. The piece of white sticker I marked has had info about year of manufacture in the past, while I have also seen bikes without the year marking. Read that sticker. Sometimes, it will be written.

Yes, I believe they were manufacturing it till early 2013.It was on Yamaha's website up until march of this before they switched it with the Special Edition (white/blue).
