going by recent posts about spark plug here, i am going to use the NGK CR9E one now that my spark plug needs to be changed. can someone tell me how much is the cost of it approx ? amazon (india) etc is not helpful, as it's not clear if the spark plugs shown there and elsewhere in the internet are for R15 and other bikes or not. just want to be aware of its price range before randomly buying it locally.

          Hi guys,
I have been facing some problem with my coneset since a few month.
There's alot of handleplay and the there is little to no resistance when going into potholes or riding on a bad road.
I've changed my coneset twice, the handling and shock absorption improves for a day or two but it reverts back to the bad condition it was in before changing the coneset.
I'm confused as to what's causing this problem.

The bottom race is loose. Loosen the top nut and hammer the bottom part of the T stem liberally. The race will fall in place and this problem will be sorted out. The race is probably not hammered into place properly while installing. You have a garbage mechanic /SVC my friend. Change it

in addition to what black-asp said, also make sure your mechanic thoroughly greases/lubes the conesets and ball racers..and in future, say at least once a year, even if there's no handle-play etc, make sure to grease and tighten/loosen/adjust the coneset and racer, at least the primary/upper one located at/just-below the handlebar joint...even if the conesets and/or racers are rusted out, proper greasing at least once a year ensures you don't have to change them every time (they are not so cheap either) you see them carrying rust...but for now, the whole thing needs to be done what black-asp suggested..

i faced the same thing long long ago...the whole setup had to be opened up and corrected..since then thankfully no need for all that, except greasing the upper set once a year at least..

As a thumb rule whenever I change cone set I hammer the crap out of the bottom part of T stem before tightening the locknut.

i think it has something to do with clutch plate.. or sprocket ..
                  Hello ,
78-79 is the speed you get at 5k rpm in 6th gear when you have 140/70 section rear tyre .
No. Of teeths on the sprocket could be one of the issue .

Wacky front end means two things, either the T stem is loose or the T stem as Raza pointed out, the lower race might be not seated/aligned properly. Make sure the the T stem is slightly hammered in a round pattern below the lower race, yet repeatedly and then lower the front of the bike down so the weight rests on the front end and and then tighten the fork nut, and lock nut. Check the handlebar movement, loosen the fork nut, pitch the bike three to four times with front end weighed in and then tighten the fork nut again.

                        Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Can anyone tell me please what type of swing-arm spool I should buy for R15 v2.0 ?

                          M6, M8 or M10 ?

I want to buy a paddock stand soon. G.A. Engineering Auto Accessories Paddock is not suitable for R15 as R15 swingram spool hole is more than an inch higher (at the back of the chain adjustment screw than below the swing-arm as many bikes).

I am confused. Please suggest which paddock stand is suitable for R15 v2.0.

                          Thanks in advance.

If you are just buying paddock for lubing/cleaning chain then there is alternatives. If not please avoid my suggestion.

You can use a car jack to lift the rear wheel from the ground easily. If you have a car or someone in your family or building have a car you can lend the jack for a try.

If its for regular maintenance, get a rx100 stand.
