Are pirelli sport demons back? i see it on amazon :Pirelli Sport Demon 100/80 -17 M/C 52H Tubeless Bike Tyre, Front (Home Delivery): Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike

Always heard people praising its performance. Is it available in shops now? checked local shops here but they don't have it.

My handlebars wobble above 70kph. checked everything, replaced cone set(which prematurely failed due to wobbling), alignment is perfect, forks are straight. Mechanic is insisting its the tyre that's causing it. Its the stock MRF FY1.

I booked the revving blue but they provide new blue. Probably the 3rd color scheme which r15 launched on 2012 era.

in city, you have to struggle in very slow moving traffic, because this bike is tall geared as well as bottom end torque is not there. So, if you cross 3500rpm, you will be pulled till 8500rpm and the motor is very well damped and vibration free but there is very little buzz around 3500-4500 rpm if you are not in proper gear. In city, 5th & 6th gears are not needed if you cannot find a well space pr stretch. The bike is good but parts & servicing cost are not so cheap.

How much kms the tyre have been used if it is close to 25k or have gone little bald then it could be due to tyre..

You need to clarify which Honda engine you're talking about LOL.

Compared to CBR 150/250 - Definitely Not.
Compared to Hornet 160 - Definitely Yes.

Its a small single cylinder high performance motor, don't expect it to come close to Honda's trademark refinement.

Regards.

Uneven wear causes such wobbling. I too faced the same and it was solved by changing the tyres.

I am facing a strange issue after tyre change around 2000km back ..
If I release my hands off at 70-80 KMPH the handle just shakes too much .. not sure what is the reason...
My rear tyre is Masseter 140/70/17
And front stock FY1

Maybe the cone set has gone loose. Not sure though. Get it checked just to be sure.
This problem doesn't look related to new tyre.

BTW, why would you leave the handle at 70-80kmph

I have asked the mechanic about coneset he says it is ok.. asked for alingment but really no mechanic here in Delhi knows about alingment..
I did this because while riding at these speeds I was feeling vibration in handle bars and was not feeling confident.. so to confirm my suspicion.. I take off my hands off the handle bar ..

They I can't say more. I guess was loose coneset.

Take the cone set out put it back put the t stem back and hammer it from the bottom. Tighten the locknut. This should solve the issue. If the T stem is alright this should solve the issue else you need to change the T stem.
Alignment could be an issue which can be solved with a 5 min
