please share it. i will validate the dimensions. as i have the bike here.

cleaning and lubricating the chain will not be a tough task then.

Hi devesh, you can check the link below.

      Steve's TL1000S pages

      Hope it is helpful.

KTM organized a meet with owners and shared some important information about taking care of the bike. They gave a small presentation about daily DIY checks. Got this info from another forum. Really appreciate and thank the original uploader for sharing the file with all.

        • I asked SVC guys about the stand price.. they said that the stand would cost around 7500-8000 bucks..

does any1 know a good place to buy a stand at cheap price?

Also what's the minimum amount of fuel that one should have in KTM? The SVC guy told me to maintain 3L

Check for details from rk_sans's CBR thread in Tbhp forum. I was not directly in touch with him, got through my friends who own CBR.

On a different note, I am planning to get a disc lock soon. But, until then.....

Or you can wait, KTM is coming up with a paddok stand for 1200 bucks. But, it does not have rollers.

Like I said earlier I got it through my friends so don't have any contact info of the fabricator.

You can search the forum even though you are not a member, I have provided the user name in the previous post

EDIT: Here is the link to the post.

                          • 560KMs on the Odo, very limited riding for the last few days to compensate the distance to service.
                            Lubed the chain today.
Bought the TVS Chain Lube- Rs.333 since I Couldn't source Motul lube+clean at my place, Didn't use any cleaning agent as the chain was relatively clean, just a thorough soft wipe using a cotton cloth.
Bro tilted the bike sideways with the side stand and I sprayed the lube quite liberally(Two layers).
Did a short ride and to my surprise the chain became sparkling clean after that. Quite good alternative if you can't get Motul. Need to fabricate a cheap and simple Paddock stand.

TVS True spray is really good. Having used it for 3 years, I can vouch for it!
All, in any case avoid TriboCor (officially provided by many Bajaj SVCs). It's no good I am regretting after just 2 rounds!

I knew someone was gonna say that.
These light showers in Delhi are making the cleaning a royal pain in the rear side.
The bike is dirtier after the rain than before it, even while it's parked.
