        I Was The 4th Guy To Book The Duke On 24th Jan at kmarg mumbai !! As B4 Delivery Many ppl Were Angry with the Showroom Guys Who booked Illegally but as ppl got their delivery no 1 is bothered :P

        Due to my boards i was nt able to make the payment So the Manager Shekhar Told me tat Shld i Give the Bike To Other Guy ? With a Stone On My Heart :/ I Said "Yes"

        Nw The Payment is Dne n My Bike is ready But But I want a special no On my Duke So Hav To Wait More Due To RTO Issues Nw My Mom Told Tat The Bike Comes Home at 23rd March Will be Good as it is Guddipadwa
        Totally Frustrated :| Goin Through The Above posts The Adrenaline is Rushing in Every Hour

              I drove my friends Duke. He got it on March 1st. One of 4 from the first allotment in kerala.
              And my expression after driving? Lets just say I cant get my grin off my face
              The power is just crazy. Even in 4th the pillion rider will fall back. And the rear tire, missing grooves in my opinion, is huge
              Curse you ktm, inching a lil more than the fz.
              And the quoted mileage is what 35? My friends getting an average of 49! Hasn't driven past 70 km/h, waiting for set it. But still, thats way too high.

                Hmmm getting some realistic mileage figures now, 26kmpl

                And as i quoted about the "throttle lag" in my previous post, I request Duke owners to ride the Duke in top gears 5th and 6th, suddenly come to a halt at a hump or some pothole, change the gear to 2nd and try to accelrate away suddenly...theres a lag in the throttle response in my bike...

                Plz confirm if its the same in yours...

                  The Chennai PBK was flooded with dukes, as Shubz stated the play in the foot pegs I checked a couple of bikes and all of them had the play. So, putting a washer will fix it, I guess.

                    Regarding the Throttle lag, its precisely the same that I experienced while I took the test ride in Noida Probiking outlet. and due to which it got stalled.

                    Another thing, while going over the patched road there were some heavyness from the rear wheel, may be due to the Chain or due to the Saree guard/tyre hugger. need to inspect by taking it out off the bike.
