    isn't that a fi bike?
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
    #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Okay I just dragged the bike forwards and backwards for about 50 yards each way. Except for the chain rolling over the sprocket - i did not notice any sound on the wheels. did you go hard over any pothole/speed breaker?

Hey. Did u go to the ASS for rectifying the issue of throttle lag?

I faced that issue on day 1 only. Today was Day 2 of my ride and did not notice that even once. I tried to do it deliberately too - when on 5th/6th - pulled in the clutch - downshifted to 2nd - gently accelerated - i did not find the throttle lag. But I am not giving up - I will keep both my eyes and ears open to it.

Congrats. So then, we are meeting on Wed.
With all that (and future plans), the bike should be lighter by a few kg's?

Btw "46"? Is that a coincidence or did you switched off the bike on reaching that number on odo and then pushed the bike(in switched off state) to home?

Speed, it seems to me, provides the one genuinely modern pleasure.

                  • Finally a long wait is over..
My duke 200 is here.. worst thing is when u see ur bike but have to wait for 2 hours to have hands on it due to a printer problem so which they couldn't provide clearance paper for my bike.

6.00pm took my baby to feel the road (as of now) so excited after riding it.
as every owner of duke, even i feel the same .. baby like to pushed beyond 6k RPM.... doesn't matter which gear.. it just fly's.... but as of now 7500RPM

as per fuel still no clear picture.. started from 50 .. came down to 27.... in traffic... will check this week end..

For hyderabadian'ssssss.. mine was 19th bike.. 3 more in stock .. next slot is on Wednesday 4 more bikes.. anyone from Hyd check with showroom guys.. and regarding power kits.. not much we getting.. even showroom guys are not sure about the parts but few been dispatched in 2 weeks time we should see here..

NOTE : guys anyone feel too much heat from engine. temp is always high in spite of riding with in 5000RPM.

                        Hello Guys ,

i got my baby delivered in Trivandrum on 2nd March , one of the first 7 bikes delivered in Kerala ... i did cover 224.8 kms in 2 days and now i am back in Bangalore for work and will go home after 2 weeks . So i wanted to check if thats ok to keep the bike idle for 2 weeks ? .

The first two days were pretty hard riding around the city .. and a small concern is bike is getting heated a lot in lower gears .. i am thinking of changing the engine oil and oil filter as soon as i go. i am going for Motul 7100 20W 50 which hope fully i will get in Bangalore ( Bangalore guys need help in locating a dealer for Motul )

Once again Congrats to all the Guys who got Duked .. Safe riding ..have fun \m/

                        • @Subin149: During the running in period synthetic oil is not recommended. For the first 1000kms stick to mineral oil and during the first service You can switch to synthetic oil.

AFAIK Motul 7100 is for Big bore thumpers and its much better if you use Motul 300v which is perfect engine oil for Duke

Try goin to lower gears(2nd in particulr) and speeding up quickly while ur about to enter a upward slope or after crossing a hump,

I faced this issue only once yesterday after riding like 120kms, but its definately an issue to be thought off...
