Ideally, coolant level should be checked everytime you start the bike. What i follow is start the bike, check the radiator hoses, coolant level, mirror alignment and then ride.Regarding chain noise, visit the svc.Tightening the chain will solve it.Originally posted by Ankitvile View Post

[QUOTE=kevin4nivek;860806]Yes Kevin, I just tight it enough so as to keep it from moving from the cap. The cap can turn on the pipe end, yes but have to keep in mind.Originally posted by Janesh.J View PostBro, I had done a simple DIY to avoid mischief mongers tampering with the radiator / rear brake fluid cap. I have put a hose clamp onto the cap and tightened it. Only thing is that the cap may rotate a bit, but will not come off. Of course we cannot avoid ppl who are determined to open it getting a screwdriver and opening it.
Hi Bro, good one but be careful as tightening the hose cap even a little bit more may result in the cap or even the pipe end to crack30+ YEARS OF RIDING

i removed the hugger today .. duke looks better now .. bike became lighter .. i am expecting it to look like a dirty pig during rains ..Originally posted by kevin4nivek View PostHi Bro, I also want to remove the rear tyre hugger, however wanted to confirm if there are any disadvantages of doing it. Well even with it, it does not prevent mud and slush from covering the bike in rain. Did you find any advantages / disadvantages post removal of the hugger

NO as rightly pointed out its not lugging at all, you will feel the lugging as engine loosing its steam and rpm getting bit irregular etc.

That's true but cleaning the dirty pig is what Dukers should be worried about. I myself am and prefer not to take my ride out when it pours!!Originally posted by Rohan200ns View Posti removed the hugger today .. duke looks better now .. bike became lighter .. i am expecting it to look like a dirty pig during rains ..

Yes KTM/ Bajaj will honor the warranty.Originally posted by Ab13 View PostHey, Guys i have a small question. If i buy a second hand duke and get it transferred to my name and address, would KTM honor the warranty?
Warranty is on the product, not on the person whom the product was sold.
So dont worry & but it.

Thanks a ton man for the quick reply, another question though, if i get the bike from Delhi and get it registered here in chandigarh, so will i have to go back to delhi for availing warranty (assuming something goes bad) or KTM Chandigarh will look after it?Originally posted by ASSASSIN07 View PostYes KTM/ Bajaj will honor the warranty.

You can take the bike anywhere in India. They will honor the warranty. No restrictions on location/ region etc.Originally posted by Ab13 View PostThanks a ton man for the quick reply, another question though, if i get the bike from Delhi and get it registered here in chandigarh, so will i have to go back to delhi for availing warranty (assuming something goes bad) or KTM Chandigarh will look after it?
But remember, the warranty will be on manufacturing defects!
You can also take it to Ludhiana
I also heard that there is a new KTM showroom is coming up in Amritsar!Hero Honda Karizma
