Re: KTM 200 Duke
Not helping mate, Need exact number of short and long blinks. As in, long blinks means the light stays on for say 1 to 1.5 seconds and short blink means it blinks with very small intervals, say multiple blinks within a second. Need those exact numbers, each number represents different issues. Try to post a video if possible.Originally posted by Lanesra View PostShort blinking, 2 times. It will blink(Short blink-2 times) for 5-6 times.
Alternatively, you could check in YouTube/Google, how to read blink codes in KTM motorcycles to get an idea.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
look at it carefully.Originally posted by Lanesra View PostHey guys,
In Ktm Duke 390 Console, Engine light(Orange one beside Indicator light) is blinking two times repeatedly.
Bike is not starting, Please let me know if you guys know something.
TIA.
does it blink two times rapidly then pauses and blinks three times .. and then repeats ? << something like this ?
because they are blink codes and usually have a repetitive pattern. in the example above the code would mean 23.
if it's just two rapid blinks that repeat over, it means 02 and i it points to the crankshaft position sensor
I suggest you take the bike to the svc (in a tow truck/van) and have them connect their diag tool and read out the exact code and fix it accordingly)
blink codes from manual of rc390.
Link to the rc390 manual: (do a control+f and search for 'blink' .. page 165)

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Has anyone faced the water seeping in the console and fone mental not showing anything leaving orange light and the bike not giving throttle responses properly even in short pin of the throttle it is opened to its full limit. My bike is going crazy from 4 days. Yes it was in heavy rain. But not that heavy which i had faced last year but there no problems last year and last to last year too

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Let it dry under the sun for a day or two. Even I have a little moisture trapped inside but it evaporated under sun. Iirc ther are two layer of display. Of which one shows the avg speed, km/ltr, service intervals etc. And all other info is on second layer. Drying it under sun is safe bet and should be back to normal.Originally posted by Shourya014 View PostHas anyone faced the water seeping in the console and fone mental not showing anything leaving orange light and the bike not giving throttle responses properly even in short pin of the throttle it is opened to its full limit. Re: KTM 200 Duke
Tried it from last 4 days. Visited svc. The guy told he'll try for the warranty replacement. But it depends on the manyfacturer to give the warranty or not. As well my Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is in bad shape. A little opened throttle also kicks in the rev limiter. He said that tps doesnt come as the spare part need to change the whole setup. 😰Originally posted by kundalus View PostLet it dry under the sun for a day or two. Re: KTM 200 Duke
if the bike is under warranty then the console and the tps should be replaced under warranty. what do they mean that the tps is not sold separately ? Are they saying the entire throttle body has to be replaced ?!
Ask them to check the parts manual and place an order for the appropriate part.. and don't pay a penny if under warranty.
A little bit of moisture is ok, dries out after a cpl hours in the sun.. but in your case seems pretty bad. Get it replaced, and email [email protected] if the svc tries to say it won't be under warranty.

450 ML.Originally posted by jeshurun99 View PostWanted an info. How much fork oil(ml) should we fill in after doing a busted fork seal replacement ?
This issue has been reported by many and if the issue is worse as the entire console fogging up, then replacement is the only option. Slight moisture in and around the rim of the console is okay which vaporizes by itself by parking the bike in sun for for close to an hour or riding. In your case, if you fall out of warranty, you'd unfortunately have to shell out for the console. If you're under warranty, the console will be replaced under warranty.Originally posted by Shourya014 View PostHas anyone faced the water seeping in the console and fone mental not showing anything leaving orange light and the bike not giving throttle responses properly even in short pin of the throttle it is opened to its full limit. Re: KTM 200 Duke
2 weeks ago i had my first busted fork seal at 27k kms so the SVC folks told me to change the oil in both forks as it had run for 27k kms.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View Post450 ML.

Now the prob is my forks are too hard.. I'm getting shoulder pain. Also i remember the mechanic telling me that 460ml is more better because of ride with pillion and he put that much thou i was telling him not to.
Is the hard forks related to 460ml of oil. If yes can i tell them to refill it to 460ml for free..? Please advice.Last edited by jeshurun99; 06-26-2017, 10:01 PM.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Yes 460 means comparatively more harder suspension pliance as compared to 450 ml which is already a harder stock. You can even reduce 5 ML at around 445 or 440 by reducing 10 ML more the forks can be comparatively softer. If you have numbness or pain associated with poor suspension, go 5 to 10 ML low on the fork oil, works well. But, make sure you don't lessen or add fork oil more than 10 ml for any given fork, you end up with either a busted seal, negatively affects suspension action, though handling is improved due to stiffer suspension, can take a toll on the comfortness offered by the suspension.Originally posted by jeshurun99 View Post2 weeks ago i had my first busted fork seal at 27k kms so the SVC folks told me to change the oil in both forks as it had run for 27k kms.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Filters, sparkplug, cables and coolant. I guess this will be the main thing. You can also opt for AMC. It should cost around 1600₹ for 3 services. Oil is extra. Also, if your bike is often parked under direct rain you should get the tank and throttle body cleaned.Originally posted by 200Duker1993 View PostI will be giving my Duke to 2nd paid device this week. Odo - 23500KM.
What are the things I should keep in mind ?
What will be the approximate cost of the service ?
Any good KTM service centres which any of you guys can suggest I live in Chennai (ECR).

Today took the bike to service. Found out that there was air bubbles in it due to which i had rock hard suspension travel.
They just removed the top made the fork flex a bit and refitted the top bolt. Now the bike is back to being awesome
