Re: KTM 200 Duke
The Michelins are 140/70/R17 ....its a down size for our bikes. Metzellers are really expensive at a moment, even I was looking for an alternate tyre. Also, on revz india's facebook page I saw Pirelli 150/70/R17 Sport Demon, not sure if that would be advisable.Originally posted by aadilnaik View Post2012 KTM Duke 200 ...Pure Love on two wheels <3

If stock is 150/60,140/70 is an upsize as far as height is concerned.Originally posted by Evander_F View PostThe Michelins are 140/70/R17 ....its a down size for our bikes. Re: KTM 200 Duke
Yea the sport demons are an option, and yea they have a perfect fit... But I had a TVS Apache 180 before the duke and had used the Sport Demons on it and didn't provide great grip so I'm sckeptical about them.... The 150 tire size is a rare one, and in India, even more rare... I mailed the good guys at Revzilla.com, and they said the Michelin Pilot Road 2 or Road 3 are amazing tires, (recommended them even over the Metzellers) but Michelin India hasn't launched the Road 2 in 150 sec... They only have it in 180section man... What the hell....Originally posted by Evander_F View PostThe Michelins are 140/70/R17 ....its a down size for our bikes. Another option is the Pirelli Diablo Corsa II, but it's going for about 13k over here
....
Oh btw, I've been using the Michelin Pilot Street Front Tire and took the duke for a long ride today... Simply put, don't think twice, just get it... It's amazing, the grip on this thing. And the feedback you get! It just inspires sooooo much confidence in the turns! And for just ₹4700, it's lovely value for money
PS- If you wanna put Metzellers, put it from the service centre only, they giving a much better rate... I'm getting a rear for 8,750 and the same I'm getting outside for 12k

Re: KTM 200 Duke
@aadilnaik Sweet! I'l check with my svc about the Metzeler pricing, I think my revz can last another 2-3k kms. Do provide more reviews and maybe a pic of the Pilot Street front tyre.
I'm mainly worried about punctures, if I put the Metzelers, it will be a rather costly affair incase i suffer major punctures. I already had 6 on my current revz

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Your 220's rim width is different from the Duke's (its wider), hence the contact patch is different and thats why you've got deep grooves.Originally posted by dannyR15 View PostI got them on my 220 been 11 k kms and still have a deep groove o.O
