I came across the Part number of KTM repair CD for 125/200/390 Duke, after trying some luck with Google, I managed to locate a seller who would sell a copy for like 30 Euros. We are working out a deal now, where no shipping would be needed and price would be lower too. Anybody got 15 Euros to spend, or shall we make contributions to get accees to the info?
1280 rupees for all 3 manuals seem reasonable to me. PM me if interested.

About the brake pads - looking at the price list on the first page they look pretty cheap whereas people tell otherwise

Sent from my GT-S7562 using xBhp Connect mobile app
Yes the brake pads are relatively cheaper compared to other OEMS and you can easily tell if the pads are worn out by looking at the insides.
On the inside there are i think two or three grooves running along the width of the pads which are your markers. If the rest of the surface of the pad is at the same level (Basically the grove will be very shallow or not there at all) that means the pads are completely worn out and should be changed as soon as possible (similar to the way tires after wear out have very shallow treads and the markers are level with tire surface).
To see this however, you need to open the pads which is not very difficult if you know how to do it.
However, i would advise first timers to actually get it done at the SVC because if there is any mistake in opening or fitting the pads the disc can get damaged and may also reduce your braking force drastically.
Just make sure the next time you take it to SVC they check it.

              This is brilliant !!
              Thank you so much.
have been looking for such a document for so long. It has all detailed steps with torque values for each bolt and everything a DIY would need.
              Thank you again.

I found this online at some forum. cant remember where exactly and also do not have the original link.
Some person opened up his engine to check valve clearance and while doing that he messed up the timing chain and as a result bent his valves.
He went and bought the repair manual from some shop. He is the one uploaded the doc online.
The credit goes to whoever that guy was.

If you have this manual and required tools, then you can practically open a service centre for KTM duke.

There 2 more documents which has part number for each spares and description of each of those. I have them somewhere but cant find it currently. Had posted link to those few 100 pages back.

Spare parts manual for engine and chassis. Will try to find them once I get back home, in case some one wants that.

                Edit:
                Found the link

====== This manual has part number in international codes. The Service centers in India has different number for parts.

Hey guys i wanna post some side by side pics of MRF REVZ-C n MICHELIN PILOT STREET RADIAL as i realized that even though there is hardly any difference between both of them as respect to size on paper as MICHELIN is 140/70/17 n MRF is 150/60/17 but still the difference between both of them in real seems to be drastic as the width n height difference between them was quite evident according to me.So i wanna post pics of them so as to confirm if i am right but i am not able to do so, as i cannot see the insert image icon anywhere. So can u all tell me how to post pics.

Upload the images to IMGUR.com and link the images here, use the [img] [/img] tags if you want or directly post the links. About the height, the sidewall height of the 140/70 tire is 98mm and the height of the 150/60 is just 90mm, yeah a difference of 8mm. Also tire profile plays a role here too.

BTW could anybody tell me why do we need "special screws" to remove the fuel tank lock from the Duke? I'm really confused about this matter. Can't we just remove all 7 screws and remove the lock?

My D200 has done over 21000 kms. Of late, I've been facing a problem with my left indicator. When I engage it, the front one blinks very rapidly, but the rear one does not blink at all.
Could any one shed some light on this problem please?

The key stem is broken and scratches in the tank cover mud guard and some other parts . also the foot lever and foot rest are broken. If i am going to replace all the damaged n scratched parts, it is costing approx 11K and I'm planning to claim insurance for the same. the service centre guy is telling that insurance company will reimburse 60 - 75% .

Now if I'm replacing the tank cover (I have currently the black one), can i change it to another colour (orange or white) if i want. Is it allowed? if allowed can i put the 390 tank cover on this one.. will it fit? please help.. Thanks in advance.

Dude please don't put the 390 fuel tank, cause it looks bad on a D200. I mean its obvious on a closer look that there's no ABS, no orange wheels and frame.
Saw one recently in Mumbai and it looks like one of those Pulsar 150 owners putting a P 200/220 badge. Just looks real cheap.

Because the rear indicator has gone kaput. And now, the front one takes all the electricity (which is meant for 2 indicators) and blinks rapidly. Change the rear indicator, or check if the wire connected to the rear indicator got disconnected / cut.
It's a lot like nuts and bolts - if the rider's nuts, the ride - bolts!

But if the indicator is gone, will it be replaced under warranty?
                              What about the wiring?

Bike comes with 2 years warranty or 20,000 kms whichever is earlier. So i dont think it will be replaced under warranty.

As we all know duke is a attention magnet and it attracts attention from people including sadists. We cant make it proof but make it difficult to such ppl to open it and put in foreign material which would damage the engine.

The metallic strip is the one that we have at the back of computer cpu cabinets which are removed when we put in a lan card / display card. It is very flexible.
