    Hi,

My friend had the same issue. Radiator fan won't kick in. He took the ride to svc and as per their update fan was damaged and they replaced it with new one.
Hope u ride is under warranty. Take it to svc asap as per my opinion

[QUOTE=Akash.Yadav;1082898]Radiator fan kicks in at about 96 degrees Celsius which roughly is about 1 bar less than the real hot zone mark for the engine temp indicator. I was scared about the heat and got it checked with the service center. With the diagnostic tool, they have shown me that it indeed gets really hot before the fan starts to kick in. The fan will run till the engine temp is 89 degrees C and then cut off. When the engine temp is above 76 degrees, the coolant starts to flow through. Duke is inherently loud, so fan kicking in may not be really loud and clear and audible.

Thanks for the Info Akash!! But as@ SABIN advised... I will take it to the SVC for check (Just to be on the safe side) - anyway my second service is due in a week..

Guys please advice thinking about getting this for my duke.
Was looking for it myself, but it's gonna need alot of modifications before it fits onto a duke... it's designed to fit a regular silencer design like traditional bikes with the muffler on the side and outside... Thus would need a bunch of modifications for it to fit on a duke... Was advised against it by Zulfi from Bachoo himself...
Leo Vince has a SBK EVO Silencer for the duke, but Bachoo has stopped stocking that as they now have the Spark exhausts which are said to be better...
        Hope this helps

Is it really worth spending money on the duke200 for upgrades ? Like these fancy exhausts with some costing as much as 30k and those 'remapped'/piggyback ecu's etc ?
Another 50k more and you can get a d390 !!
Well maybe for those who pick up a second hand duke at say 80-90k , these mods might be a 'smarter' option.
            Just my opinion..

So today I got stuck in really heavy traffic and it was crawling literally . What happened is that all off sudden the console display went off completely , lights were still on and everything was fine . Then the console came up again with showing high coolant temperature , low fuel value , Low battery , No bars for fuel and temperature was there , Speedo was showing random numbers and now it's zero . lol . Bike is running fine , Don't know if fan is working , i guess it's working . What could be the reason ?

I agree... Which is why I first saved up money for upgrades to the bike, then had the same thoughts as you just mentioned... And the answer is no, it's not worth it, the performance gain is negligible... So I'm instead investing it in upgrading my safety gear with real premium stuff

I know 30k for a exhaust for a bike that cost 150k is not worth, thats why i was looking at cheaper options.

I wasn't specifically mentioning you.. it was just a passing thought and i can't dictate what ppl chose to do with their money
My opinion, stick to the stock exhaust and enjoy the ride. Some mods do not make economic sense to me.. to gain half or 1 bhp or 0.5sec quicker to 100 for a bike that's ridden on our roads duh !!
Unless you just desperately want something louder which is what i am suspecting you need !

Yes i am gonna keep the bike stock, didnt wanted it to be loud particularly but i wanted it better sounding[emoji4]. I'll wait till i get a bigger bike like ninja 300 or r25 because because twins sound so good with a aftermarket exhaust.

Ooopss!!! Hearing such a weird issue for the first time. Seems like it all related to each other. Did your ride faced any electrical issue recently?

If the lights were working when the console went off, I am assuming that you have a 2014 make of Duke 200, which has separate relays for console and headlights and indicator. If that is the case, then it is possible that your console's relay has gone kaput. If you have an older bike, something else might be the issue.

                              Hello Akshay,
It's a 2013 November make . I will get it checked this week or next week and update here .

                              • Issue Alert

So in keeping with the fine tradition of niggles cropping up every now and then I have a new one now.
The engine doesn't engage when you press the starter button when in gear ,even with the clutch engaged. This is admittedly a minor issue , but bothers me nonetheless. What if while in the middle of a crossing. The bike stalls and I am in a gear. This has happened before and I then simply pull the clutch start and move avoiding the oncoming traffic.
I think something called a clutch switch needs to be replaced which tells the starter that the clutch is engaged. I found a pulsar having the same issue on this forum and since the switchgear is exactly the pulsar's I think I might have a quick fix.
