    The difference is very subtle but riding a stock bike and then hoping on mine makes the difference very apparent There isn't any power benefit but I do have a more linear power delivery and almost no engine braking compared to the stock bike. The addition of the K&N ended up yielding zero benefits on the power end but did bump up my FE, I now get about 37-40kmpl in the city. Since this current setup have proved its worthiness over the past 8 months or so, I have decided to upgrade again. Since I don't want to fiddle with the map, I decided on the camshaft but i have no idea where to start.

    Where is Tectrac uncle when you need him

            Labour 1000. Paint cost 1700 2k..maximum labour work was done by me. Unmounting and mounting of wheel rubbing etc.. cause the painter I hired was not mechanic.

                Ok guys.. So went in for second service and also got enrolled in KTM orange assist.. It is Rs. 800 per annum.. And as opposed to the earlier belief.. It is not a one time cost.. It is like insurance which is to be renewed every year.. There are a bunch of features in this.. Could not get the brochure.. Svc didn't have any.. And he could not email me the one copy he had on computer.. So I just took a pic of the screen so that you guys can check it out..

                    I went for my third service , I had some problems with display where it was showing some random numbers in the speedo area and repeated 'low fuel' low battery 'high coolant temperature' messages, only thing working was the gear indicator,rpm and odo. It was replaced under warranty ( Cost : INR 5600 ) , three filters were changed, O-ring as always in a bad shape and oil was leaking from the filter area, so it got a replacement too. My chain has developed lots of rust on the outside so I have been told to lube it from the outside too . Usual oil change and tightening of chain , lube etc. Total : 1760 INR .

                    • Acceleration Issues

                      Hii Guys,
                      My D200 has run for almost 5000km now, have done all 3 free services. Since last couple months, I feel the bike performs a bit sluggish. I feel the acceleration is not how it was when the bike was new in the 1st few months. Is it just me or has anyone else felt the same about the bike? Also, I feel a certain lag in the engine when i twist the throttle suddenly. Its as if the engine lags for a fraction of a second before revving up. Earlier i used to get that acceleration jerk as soon as i twisted the throttle but now i feel it lags for a brief moment before I get a jerk. Also the sound is not as crisp as it was when new, its kind of muffled now. I've checked the tire pressure and chain slack, and all seems normal. I've complained about it to the service guys quite a few times, IDK what they do, but they say all is fine and normal . But after I bring my back my bike, I feel the same lack of power. Fellow bikers, HELP.

                        These are the EXACT SAME words that came out of my mouth yesterday at the service center . They noted down everything . There is a lag. muffled sound not the refined sound it used to come earlier, strange noises coming from engine area, not so smooth but jerky lower rpm nature, FI is also acting weird with not that stable rpm it used to be , mine has done 3500 KMS . But according to the SVC its running fine and I should ignore what I am feeling lol . No luck .
