  • Re: want to change KTM DUKE 200 handle bar

hey hyderabadi guys, in your experience which ktm dealership (especially service related) is better among the lot.. banjara , begumpet, madhapur ??
where does the banjara ktm have its workshop ? at same location or some place else ?

might pick one up soon, just betting on the stock market to cover up some financial shortfalls

Hi s1d, I got my D200 from L.B.Nagar but they are just the sales for now, no servicing. For my first service, I went to Banjara Hills, opposite to KBR park, adjacent to Maruti and Chevrolet showrooms. That added about 20 more kms to my total tally but Banjara Hills is way too preoccupied to take bike for 1-2 days. I didn't go in there because they were already full till their head. Banjara Hills KTM store is cool actually. They allow me to stay and get my hands oily too, promptly serviced my BugLightyear and returned it in basically 1-2 hours - 12 o'clock In, 2:15 Out despite they having a few more bikes to service.

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

Met with an accident yesterday. Inspite of being a minor fall, handlebar was bent. Is it possible to repair it or should I have to replace it?

Change it! You wouldn't want to have misaligned handle.

          Ride safe and have fun.

Thanks, LB Nagar is out of question for me anyway. The Banjara hills outlet is less than 2km from my house so I will go with them. Had some positive feedback about them from Sriharsha on the 390 thread too. I was initially thinking about the begumpet outlet, but the pathetic traffic along that stretch pisses me off so am glad to know the Banjara svc is good enough, my main criteria being allowed to hang around without having a discussion/argument with them (Like i had to do at other places)

                    Aren't the handle bars on 200 and 390 the same ? O.o

I think not. I don't have any idea on that, but heard of those mods, may be somebody else on this forum would throw some light on that. :P

Had a fall. Can this be undone? Anybody removed similar scratches? Any options I should try? I'd really appreciate any help on this.

I have had similar scratches. You can try scratch out or some similar product from pidilite or something imported, but truth be told, these won;t vanish. You'd have to keep with them unless you get the side panel replaced. Keep it as a badge of honour (I have several)

Lol same feels bro. How far can those products be useful? Will they at least dodge the scratches to some extent? How good they can do? Medals of honor are fine but I'd still love it more if it's flawless
