ok, I'm going to stop here

Ideally you do not use your rear brake until you have slowed down sufficiently, motorcycles do not have enough weight on the back and using the rear brake will make you lose traction. Use your front to bring yourself to a stop quickly, use the rear to maintain your line. It's ok if you do not get it, but try it out and it will change the way you ride your bike.

Sure thing. I understood what you meant. Thanks for the advice. Will try it out too. But the roads here are full of potholes

Haahaaaa ok I have seen that crack multiple times and each time it was caused by someone trying to remove the tank cover without removing the coolant cap. You my friend have a really sucky SVC.

I can agree with you on anything, but not this

This did not happen because of tank removal.

is there a case that the chain slider is worn at 1922kms only?

What does a chain slider look like? I have a similar sound in my bike, though not an Duke 200 its Pulsar NS.
Can you share a pic if possible?

                  Thanks

Sorry bro no idea about the NS, but on a KTM you can see a little rubber piece that is one the swingarm near the front sprocket, that is the chain slider... I usually have mine changed once I start hearing the rubbing sound.

Has anyone purchased the KTM Orange Assist service. It's KTM's recovery service which apparently comes as standard with the newer lot bikes.

So can someone confirm if the assist service is out and if its 'freely' available on new purchases or do we need to pay more/annually etc..??

Has the price increased to include orange assist ? I mean like for eg., if pre-orange assist new bikes cost Rs.150000, do the new ones which include Orange assist cost 150800 ??

Orange Assist is available for both old and new customers and from what I know it isn't an annual fee but a one time fee. Those who opt for it will get 24/7 road side assistance within a 100kms of the nearest SVC.
