Got the chain sprocket changed and after that the pegs are buzzing badly. Are sprockets fitted wrong or something?cause I think the front sprocket is rubbing on the inside. Wasnt there for before the sprocket change. Anyone faced this? How to get it fixed?

It is an option, you do not need to opt for it if you do not want it

Not sure about the price of the new bikes, but the old ones have to pay ₹800 for the service which seems reasonable. Will buy it probably in the next week.

Hey does anyone know if we can get a bigger tank for Duke 200, I was looking through some of the web pages and found that they have bigger tank availability outside India.. Is this an option in one of dealerships here ???

I also did some DIY for the front mud flaps..
Saw this on one of the blogs, real cheap and clean... Cost Rs 20 for the flap and feviquick super glue..

Fevikwik won't hold it for too long. Make sure you attach with a couple if short screws.(Ask for them at the SVC, they'll give you for free!..)

say who? a friend has a similar mud flap attached to a unicorn withfevikwik and it has been thru the worst of slushy mud/dirt and it is still holding up with nil damage/wear. It has been 8 months and over 8000km. its for those who dont want to drill into the mudguard

Thats a D390 mudguard flap... Tell your area SVC, they will fit it for your bike. For us its a stock part, helps a lot.

It didnt on the 390 too initially, but they added it later.

Guys.. Quick question... Out of 13 bars for Engine Temp Indicator.. at what level does the radiator fan kick in... Yesterday my duke showed 9 bars in start-stop traffic and still the fans did not kick in... Looked in the manual.. but could not find anything...

Radiator fan kicks in at about 96 degrees Celsius which roughly is about 1 bar less than the real hot zone mark for the engine temp indicator. I was scared about the heat and got it checked with the service center. With the diagnostic tool, they have shown me that it indeed gets really hot before the fan starts to kick in. The fan will run till the engine temp is 89 degrees C and then cut off. When the engine temp is above 76 degrees, the coolant starts to flow through. Duke is inherently loud, so fan kicking in may not be really loud and clear and audible.

I couldn't help but notice that the mud flaps are put in as after market. Why is that so? I got my D about 40 days ago and the front mud flaps are present, very neatly integrated to the front mud guard. I believe:

                                1. Either the SVC folks are very nice to have added this on their own without charging me extra.
                                2. It now comes as factory fit in the newer lots.

However, whatever they have added, seems to be working quite okay'ish and that it is definitely a rough rubber/plastic thingy which is difficult to clean.
