  • Saw two dukes at the Madras Motor Sports Club on Sunday apart from my third one.:P. Although I didn't take it to track. Anyone from xbhp who was there on that day.?

One guy had taken it to track. The riding posture was completely odd when seen among other bikes on track. Maybe next time I will also take my duke to track when i gain enough confidence in driving and also purchase the necessary driving gear.

Fuel indicator just doesn't show the fuel level, even when the tank is full. And the Trip F starts off!

        Is it just after refueling?

I cannot recollect exactly when it starts, but most likely it starts just after refuelling.

Once done with refueling, close the tank cap. If the fuel meter doesnt show the fuel level..then open the cap and close it again. Start the iginition...& it'll be there.

Looks like you had faced this issue & rectified it?

Ah thanks Inder, I will try that next time. This still stands to be a niggle isn't it! I mean, this shouldn't be happening.

No spills after tankful for me. But yes there's a lot of petrol smell. I'm pretty sure that the cap washer is the culprit. I raised this issue with SVC guys once, no use. Need to talk to them again!

I saw hints of petrol around the cap washer when tank is anywhere near full, that's what led to my conclusion. Yeah, may be AFR has issues. But if it was AFR, why it smells only when the tank is close to full?

Those are different than what they sell at the K™ power parts store here. I agree the leg guard is the best, but the crash pads being soldbherebare meant to protect the Swing arm and the front USD fork from damage during a fall and they fit directly onto those parts, if you check your swing arm and front fork there are holes drilled into them on the sides specially for the crash pads. Also did you get any damage to the swing arm or front fork when you had a fall on

Hehe my Photoshop skills must be really mad if you thought that was real!!! I just made a template the sticker on my PC so I could cover up a small stone caused knick where I placed the K™ logo in that pic. Will be trying to get the real thing made by this Sunday at the very latest!!! Will post pics there after.

Speed, it seems to me, provides the one genuinely modern pleasure.

Mine comes even after the fuel level drops a bit.. basically it comes when I park the bike after a normal ride.
