Dude, i noticed one thing when i used to ride my splendor - when bike is on side stand it used to show more fuel (analogue). I guess that's the same with duke too. That's what i have noticed. correct me if i am wrong.Originally posted by starscream1188 View PostI have noticed the fuel sensor doing funny things aswell!
It suddenly starts Trip F and then return to normal and the fuel shows one bar! At other times i have noticed that the fuel sensor keeps fluctuating between 2 bars and 3 bars it is not very stable, the senspr probably changes readings as the petrol inside shifts to the front and back during braking and accelerating respectively. Isn't it supposed to be constant? should it be understood as a defect? Anybody who has highlighted the issue to ASC?
How much has it been costing for a normal service of the duke I am assuming even for the first free service we will have to pay for the consumables right? What is the cost of the oil? filter? coolant? lube?? etc.,?
Dude where are u getting the lock from??Originally posted by harshag26 View Post@Assassin : Thanks for the superb explanation
I'm quite clear now on how this stuff works.
I'd probably go for a XENA XX6 for the front and a local one for the rear, as you suggested.
@Shubz : Appreciate your feedback as well.

really dude stray dogs could be used as good security.. sadly not many strays where i liveOriginally posted by joshzma225 View PostDefinitely will. It really is good to live on the ground floor :-D But I'll really have to make up a good excuse to get my bike "inside my house" wow that would feel soooooo awesome :-D
Thats the thing I can't find it here in India. I have to order it from the UK and with that insane shipping cost...I'm using the local Disc Brake Locks and my 3 Pet Stray Dogs that Sleep next to my bike :-D ...Always barking at anyone who passes by :-D ...I just Love them!!!

u refering to Madras Motor Sports Club? Anyways it was ridden there among the lot of other R15. I wouldn't say it was faster or even at par as no one was racing. But the riding posture was not all for racing.Originally posted by voodoo_god13 View PostGuys anyone know if the duke has been ridden on the MMST track? Rumour has it that tthe Duke was faster than the R15 at Kari. I'm not sure if the Duke was ridden by better rider, but even if it is as fast as the R15 then this will be one beautiful all rounder.
IMO it needs a change in handlebars and seat to start on track. Rest i am not a pro-biker/racer so dont know much about comparing it with r15 on track.

If no one was racing, how would you be able to estimate whether the K™ was at PAR to the r15??? Or in fact if the r15 was at PAR with the K™ 200 DUKE!!! And yes its not a track bike its a street bike so no the posture is definitely not for track but the way its built I wouldn't be surprised if it could compete on the track just the way it is. Someone should really pit an R15 against the K™ on track...Originally posted by devesh38 View PostAnyways it was ridden there among the lot of other R15. IMHO I bet the K™ 200 Duke could pull a roadrunner on the R15 :-D The powerband on the K™ is just a lot more potent. Although the R15 Chassis etc is built for the track they really should have done something about the powerband, and even the front suspension, a USD front fork would work well on that bike too.Originally posted by devesh38 View PostIMO

Maybe in a future R200 We'll see some improvements. Its still the same 17bhp even on the R15 v2.0 right? Correct me if I'm wrong.Last edited by joshzma225; 03-28-2012, 01:52 PM.Speed, it seems to me, provides the one genuinely modern pleasure.

Desperately waiting for the same.Btw fellas does any1 have any clue about the Duke 350 scheduled to be launched next year?
Wish its sooner then expected.
At times, i get this urge to go and get a 200, but controlling with difficulty. My C5 is helping me to that, till the D350 sees the light of the day.
