Petrol smell after refill can also be due to petrol draining from the over-flow tube, may happen if petrol is filled a little above or very close t0 max. I face the same when the tank filled close to the max level & the smell reduces as fuel level drops.

I don't see any overflow. All I can see is the unusually wet washer.

It's reflective. Costed me 200 bucks Hey, today I might be going towards Koramangala for some work. I will find out and give you the address if I go there.

Edit: There's a popular car accessory shop there. You might know! Sorry, don't remember the name again!

Try ebay but shipping costs are exhorbitant! Best thing is to get it through someone coming back from the US.

I am thankful to my friend (sharingan on xbhp) for helping me with this one!
So, if the hole diameter on the duke is around 6 mm, then does this lock fit into my disc. I was planning to buy this XX14 series disc lock alarm. Its dimension says that the pin diameter is 14mm wide. So,a 14mm pin cannot go into a 6 mm hole right? Does that mean i need to get a pin with a smaller diameter (around 6 mm).

And @Shubz, do you know whats the difference between XX, XN & XZZ series of XENA?
By the way, which one are you using currently? Are you using it on your new Duke?

Dude, you can put a 6 mm pin lock in both front & back discs on its circumferential holes!
But, you can use the 14 mm thick lock only in the front disc which has "petal structured" space, radially mounted. The rear disc doesnt have enough space.
Hope it clears your query. If it doesn't i need to put some pics with dimensions

Yes I had the first puncture with a nail that went right through the thick rubber area of the tire. The tires feel very soft. About the fuel sensor, can you take a look inside the tank and see if the float is okay and firm (the plastic block that floats upto the level of fuel)? maybe it came off or inst floating anymore.

P.S. Do not use a candle or matchstick!! (joking)

                      • The little niggles

Got my bike last Friday from ktm noida . Had booked it on Sunday and could have taken it on Wednesday if I could have, but being a student that was not possible. You all do know what the wait feels like. And then a 150km ride back home. Out of which 40 were on non existing roads.
All was well, starting to notice some niggles .

                        1) I can't check the coolant level from the indicator. help?
                        2) Noticing a faint whining noise from the front body which varies with the rpm. Feels like chain is touching something. Any one else having the same problem?

I have completed 350km on my bike. Was just thinking that should i get my service done from the front Delhi or the Noida centre ? The Noida personal seemed to have done no service till yet.

                        • Handle Bar Paint Issue

                          Hi Guys,
I have seen that the handle bar paint (silver colored) is getting textured. Its either coming out or getting scratched out itself.
Service guy told me to get it re looked during the 1st service to which i nodded!
I believe there are others also who had a similar issue. What was the response of the ASS ppl?
                          Reason?
                          Damage?
                          How to rectify?

                          Thnx

Yeah thanks Took a while to understand what is "radial" and "Circumferential".

So Radial is more secured isn't it?

Don't mind if i'm asking too many questions, because i'm a newbie to all these things
