HAHAHA...thanks buddy. There are three Dukes in our office parking including mine and Inder's. There are two more in the group and one more will join us this weekend.

      Pune has been Duke'd.

Yeah I have got one for my 650 too, but yet to collect it and fix it!

You guys should also join the FB community for the duke 200. I guess Gsferraris cousin is the brains behind that. A group of owners always help in sharing information and little tricks and all. The N650 group has been a brilliant collection of interesting tid bits and information and even some brilliant group pruchases!

Then again, why am I lurking on this thread! Why!

Update: The Duke is one of the hardest machines to wash yourself. Some points that I learned yesterday when I washed her myself

              1. Right side is easy to clean; even through the frame.
              2. Left side is slightly difficult to clean since most of the exhaust plumbing resides there.
              3. Left side of the swingarm and alloy is a nightmare to clean in the absence of a good cleaning fluid and a paddock stand; our oil-can happy mechanics spray such a lot of lube that the chain sprinkles it everywhere and the swingarm + alloy turns greasy.
              4. Swingarm is so beautiful to look at but absolutely tricky to clean.
              5. Rear grab-rail can hurt your fingers while buffing away the polish
              6. Clips on hoses can cut your fingers while cleaning the left side of the bike.
              7. Front alloy is easy to clean provided the bike is on a paddock stand.
              8. Paddock stand needs to be mounted a bit away from the rear sprocket as the swingarm mount of the stand interferes with the sprocket and makes it difficult to turn the wheel while cleaning.
              9. Mounting the paddock stand away leaves one of the sides slightly off the paddock mount as the swing arm converges towards the chassis mount. Best way is to ensure that you clamp the mounts just before popping the bike up.
              10. Seat can grab a whole lot of fibers from a yellow cleaning cloth; best policy is to use a microfiber cloth.
              11. Radiator is easy to clean using a toothbrush and upward strokes with a trickle of water or a spray bottle.
i hope the service center guys know how to wash the bikes.

              • The alarm system from KTM is very expensive but the OEM i suppose sells it a lot cheaper

It looks quite useful, has anyone managed to locate this kind of plug anywhere on the bike? I do not think fitting this will void the warranty as no cutting to the original wiring is required. I was reading about the alarm system in the user manual and it has many features like vibration sensor and seat removal switch etc.

There is an unconnected plug under the seat. The service center guy told that it is for center locking system. But he also said that any aftermarket electrical fitment will void the warranty. Be cautious when you proceed.

No way. They have no idea of how to wash a bike. For them, it is routine stuff...spray the bike with water, apply some foaming soap and spray water again. Three step process and easy
