1:- I am 5'6" in height. Would it be problamatic for me to ride a duke in Traffic? I mean where i have to keep my feet on ground quite often. I have a honda dream. It's higher than normal bikes, but i don't face any problems on it.

2:- What about pillion comfort on this. On a scale of 1 to 10 how much would u rate it.

3:- how much would a secondhand duke 200 cost. Any rough idea.
    1. You should not face a problem with your height. Take a test ride to check out the ergonomics though.

    2. Pillion comfort would be a 5. The seat is hard and narrow. I am giving this rating based on the number of people who complained about the pillion seat.

    3. Second hand dukes cost quite low as not many give in to the 'premium feel'. People pay 60k to 85k max for a well maintained bike.

I faced the same problem, I asked the guy to reshape it, this works only if its a slight bend and for maybe for 1 or 2 low speed crashes .
I had to get them replaced cause I had fallen maybe 3-4 times and also the paint was chipped and it looked bad.

It is also structurally not sound and might not take the load if the bike has fallen multiple times and just straightened.

No mate, unfortunately its a little older(Sept. 2012), guess I should drop a mail to KTM about this, see if it helps.
The servicing guy just kick the leg guard 3 times and tighten the allen key bolts and leg guard get back in it's original sahpe. So easy and quick

It would have been better for you to get the leg guard and bolts changed.
The bolts holding the leg guards are not of good quality, they would break off on the slightest impact next time.
I had straightened mine once, and few days later the guard fell off. The bolt holding the guard at top broke off when it touched another bike's foot peg while parking.

Dude, if the leg guard is bent, it has served it's purpose, which is saving your leg and the bike to an extent. If you keep on using it, the next time you take a fall, it won't withstand the impact/sheering forces and might rather transfer almost all of the force to your leg/bike. It's cheap, hardly 80 odd bucks? Why fret so much?

Coz, my bike's leg guard scratched badly, the bend was not very deep. If it bents very deep, then I replace it unless to trying repair it. I totally agreed that, leg guard served it's purpose and save my leg and beautiful bike. But at back side of lower part of leg guard there are 2 hose which is connected to the engine. Because of bent, that allen key bolt of leg guard touches that hose and starts leaking of oil but after repairing it stops and everything is fine now

Hi, I enquired about raceline stickers to the Adayar KTM shop. They quoted around Rs.5500. But they told labour charger would be Rs.1000.
Is it a difficult task to apply the stickers?

I've been having battery issues since last week..
It all started when the bike won't start and make trrr trrr noise from near the battery and Displayed an error code(J10_99 something like that) on the center console and the console went blank.
Had to push the bike to the SVC for almost 4Kms.(Didn't know how to push start a bike then). The SVC manager said some issue with the battery and that I can use it by push starting it for a while and it will be replaced since it is in warranty after a day or two. Used it by push starting it for a couple of days thinking that it was just a minor glitch and it will go away by itself. Yesterday while coming from office it wont start at all(push start was also not working then).
Inquired about a tempo and found out it would cost some 2000 bucks....
Called up the SVC manager and he sent a KTM mechanic to my office(20KM far) with a spare battery.
Switched the battery and all was fine.
Was really starting to hate the bike after almost 20Kms of pushing the bike around within the last week.(Must have lost some weight for sure..:P)
Waiting for the replacement battery now and she is just sitting in the parking till then..
Has anyone had such a problem with the battery?
(FYI:Mine is just some 9 months old around 9000KMs done.)

Didn't have any major battery problems till now, just once or twice i had seen a battery low warning when my bike was left idle for a week (it was during vacations).

Btw local battery guys immediately refuse to check the battery because it is maintenance free, they always tell to check the warranty and get it replaced. :\

Are u sure that problem is with battery coz if the coil that charges battery is not functioning this problem might come up. I had faced this problem and coil was the culprit.

My bike was used with a battery from another bike and was running perfectly fine but it was just used once for some 20km. If the battery was not the culprit I will be having similar problems again.
Did u see any such error code on the console during ur issue?? And where is this coil located so that I can take a look at it once..
