Is this some kind of escalation

Anyways, coming to the point...we were supposed to go for that. But, didn't go due to time constraints...will do the same over the weekend.

Yeah it was around 1200 or something. Personally I don't see the worth in getting it coated at all. All of it is plastic and most of it is covered with stickers, a small can of waxpol every few months will keep it shiny.

Only very fine scratches that are caused by dust will perhaps be avoided with the coating.

            • To all those who are complaining about Duke being not as refined as a Japanese:-

Duke is made to feel a bit agricultural and rough. it does sounds angry. its a part of ownership and what separates duke from other bikes.

Anybody who has ridden a Harley knows how much it vibrates. it is something Harley owners love about their bikes.

Duke is agricultural and angry and rough and is proud to be that.

i just called up Jopasu guys in pune and even they told me not to do any paint treatment. i might just end up damaging the paint on the bike.

Even he suggested me to apply simple polish

even i have observed that on highways at around 70-80 the bike gives you better average.
What Rev Limiter? There is no Rev Limiter on the KTM , the light you see flashing red(if it has been set) is just the shift warning light, it will not cut off the engine
Speed, it seems to me, provides the one genuinely modern pleasure.

That is true, you can wax polish paint, the teflon treatment they do looks nice in the beginning but you cant polish it. It has to be re treated top get back the shine.

Yes, But its not a limiter, its only a indicator...once ur RPM goes past 7.5k the red light flashes and u have to decrease the RPM manually(doesn limit automatically) means u can raise it upto max RPM possible even now(before 1st service)...
