Oil cooling??? Dude, Present CBR150R has liquid cooling. Other than that, waht u said was correct. Maybe the monoshock will also be not there. There will be the traditional two shocks like in a commuter bike.
Well, Oil is a liquid.. .. Smart-ass comments aside, sorry for the slip up. I stand corrected. Liquid cooling it is..

one more air cooled and carbureted engine vehicle coming our way.. its got style though, and will get much needed competetion to the FZ series..

Who will pay 90k-1 lakh for an dull styling bike withour any special features than normal communters ??? Even in present 150R, honda removed so many features to reduce the cost ( footpegs, ordinary paint, unattractive console, switch gears ) ... But still the price is almost 1.4 lakhs ... R15 is coming with more features and attractive design with a 10k less price tag ...

      • Good one. But that is where Brand Value comes into picture.

You make perfect sense, ,my friend. However, there is a dedicated market of bikers which does not think from the VFM perspective.. Brand loyalty + personal liking all go hand in hand into making the bike sell and in turn, a success..

Also, if i were in the market now looking for a sub 1.5 lakh bike and would. I would go for CBR150R purely because of the brand value and well built engines and also that id want something new and unique; since Duke 200s and R15V2s especially are around every corner these days and CBR150s are still a rare sight in my city.. When you think of overall quality though the picture completely changes..

I agreed with your point. I dont have any complaint about the brand value and quality of the engine. But if we are paying more than 1lakh, then we must get some special features than ordinary bikes. Honda can provide somemore good quality paint , better quality switch gears with passlight engine engine kill switches , good looking console and some other features like LED indicators, LED taillamp etc. This is my personal opion.

Still I don't understand why Honda is not providing passlight switch in 150R. During my last service, I checked all models in honda showroom. Except 150R, all are having passlight switch.

Friend even150cc unicorn, dazzler don't have engine kill switch.if you compare to pulsar fz apche.Honda engineers know what to do for their engine..if you need good mileage, pass light, engine kill switch etc etc better you go to platina.it ll full fill your expectations.
Cb 150r have automatic head light, pro link suspension, and it have New innovative truss frame,i dont about pass light and engine kill switch whether it have or not.but it is little bit advanced than cbr 150r in this manner only not in engine hardware things.that why they priced 1lkh for that.that is also vfm bike like 150r.
IN MY OPINION GOOD RIDER NEVER ASK PASS LIGHT...

I didn't talk about engine kill switch. Before this 150R , P150 was with me and it has an engine kill switch. I was able to stop the engine without touching the ignition. About the pass light, as per your opinion those who are using pass light are not good rider or driver. THEN WHY EVEN LUXURY CARS ARE HAVING PASSLIGHT ???

Well the pass light is very important considering the bike`s touring capabilities. ITs very much needed in highways and especially state highways. Honda made the blunder in only switchgears ~

All talking about the bike`s steep price, yes its little costly but not like APPLE guys. The CBR150R`s engine is imported. Considering the local made bikes cost close to 80000, the CBR`s pricing is ok. All bajaj products have lot of cosmetic showoffs. The inclusion of LED lights in a bike doesnt mean that the bike is good. The engine is a very important part of a vehicle according to me!

The new bike which is going to be released will be close to a lakh sure.

                  • By the way, I finished my third service a day ago. The only expense was chain lubing and some minor clutch adjustment. I forgot to mention about adjusting the rear suspension. Can the 150`s suspension be adjusted?

For the rider, engine is important. But some accessories will increase the looks and roadpresence of the vehicle.
