      No big trouble.
You can try going to a Yamaha service center and trying your luck at some worn out sprockets lying around here and there. You just have to test the fitment & chain pitch, right? If fitment is confirmed, purchase a new sprocket (or C-S kit) from market.

Don't try to get it from an existing bike.

Mine is HH CBZ Extreme 2011 last model. I am planning to change socket and chain. is it possible to install 15T front of Unicorn and 38 t back of Ambition?

1)is it a good combination. AIm a little better Milage.. sudden power is not in my concern.

        2) which chain should i use, chain of unicorn? is this a direct fit.

My sincere apologies buddy. I have very less idea about Unicorn, Ambition, etc. sprockets... So, I couldn't confirm anything despite your PM.

I think CBZ Xtreme has a combination of 14/43 on .428 pitch. Your combination of 15T front of Unicorn and 38 t back of Ambition might fit properly.. The thing however is that it might overgear too much... you will heavily lose acceleration.
Its not a good combination. Your 1st gear will become even more sluggish than your 2nd gear is, right now....

But still, based on past knowledge, I would suggest you try fitting the 15 teeth front sprocket from Unicorn, that's it.
Since CBZ Xtreme's front sprocket fits on Unicorn... so maybe the inverse is also true?

Try with an old worn out sprocket (lying around in Service centers) first, so that you don't have to purchase it.

Pulsar series come with X and so forth ring types. O ring is cheap, effective and does the work 90% of the time. The Duke uses

Yes R15s chain doesn't have a link, it can be removed by removing the rear tyre and then fiddling with the chain, pretty easy job for a mechanic, but a real pain in the posterior for a DIY person, add to that it doesn't have a stand. But it's just to make things even harder for a DIY-er so that we go to SVC to get the job done, equals more moolah spent, simple logic.

            Cheers!

we can use RTR 180 14 teeth front sprocket to RTR 160 which is 13 teeth. This will increase top speed.

I need to change my p180 ug2(2005) chain and sprocket set .
What options do I have ?
Should I go to a spare shop and say that I need a rolon kit for P180 ? I'm not completely sure on the sprocket ,I suppose it should be 15/42 - 6 nut type.
Is chain and sprockets need to be purchased seperately ? or will this come a single set? What should I keep in mind when buying the chain ?

Just mention your bike name and model (UG2) and they should give you the compatible kit. It will come in a single set, from Rolon. The set will have a Chain and the 2 sprockets, alongwith chain lock, etc.
This set is combined is to avoid unnecessary wear and tear, which happens a lot on a mismatch of old and new sprocket/ chains installed.

Most probably, the set you're looking for is Rolon R428H- 114- 1.... It must have 15/42 sprockets, and a .428 pitch chain with 114 links.

If not the above, then it should be Rolon R428H- 122- 1. It should be either of these 2 sets.

Basically I bought the kit last week as the original one slipped , got OEM 15/44 with 6 mount holes, not sure which brand is it. I wanted to get rolon on diamond , but could lug around with weak chain in rains. Thanks.

Does anyone know if rolon makes a 415 pitch chain? I'm looking to do a 415 chain conversion on my ninja 250r. This is something that racers do abroad. Since my ninja is a track only bike, I figured I would go in for the same. Any help would be appreciated. I'd need new sprockets and chain.

I have a 5-7 year old rolon manual. According to it, Rolon doesn't make any 415 pitch chain. It makes .420, .428, .520, etc. I haven't heard about a .415 in India anyways.

You should be able to get a #41 Spec chain from a good tractor/ engine shop. That is almost the same spec as a .415 pitch chain, only its inner space is wider for a slightly fatter sprocket. You can check its specs in detail on this page: Azusa Engineering, Inc. Online Catalog - Roller Chain, Motorcycles, etc.
Or choose a different spec chain as per need.

But, it comes in a 10 feet box usually. You will have to cut them as per requirement, and join them using a master chain link. Avoid using it on 100 bhp+ motorcycles, and while going too much uphill, but on your Ninja for a racetrack with mild slopes, it will do great.

Sprockets you will have to hunt on your own, but any "slightly wider(1/16th of an inch) than the .415" sprocket will fit fine for #41... I'm not sure about their width exactly though.

If it's a 4 whole sprocket then you can use Pulsar 180UG4 rear sprocket which is 38T or either Pulsar 220Dts-Fi (Fuel injected one; pre 2009) which has a 37T sprocket on .520 Pitch, not szre what pitch your bike has, if its .428 Pitch you can still use sprocket from Pulsar 180 UG3.

I believe a small bike like Dream Neo is highly unlikely to have .520 pitch. So, new Pulsars sprockets most probably won't fit.
                                And P180 UG3's sprockets are 43-44 teeth, not 37.

I think the 36 teeth of Hero Street might fit ok. Or else, try a 37 teeth from Yamaha RX 135.
