Nope, I got the 390 ( wanted rd350 like pull). But I saw and rode the 200 sprocket. Part number I didn't take from them but I'll be sure to check up the very next time I go to the svc. Though I doubt sprocket alone is available and besides you'll also need the appropriate damper hub to go with it. Also new d200 calippers come with empty slot for ABS and ecu is ABS enabled.

Many components of d200 and ns are similar..
I just need to get the sprocket and fix it on existing wheel hub no other change is required..
Wierd i was searching for the sprocket online and came across a price list with no part no.. costs about 650 ish rupees.. or other option i have kept of changing entire chain set of either d390 or d200 with an upsized rear tyre (130-140)
But will have wait for until current tyre wears out..

Oh no the new sprocket is six hole sprocket as opposed to the previous four hole sprocket. Which means the new hub has to match the new sprocket and have six instead of four holes. No jugaad will work here bro.
Though wheel hub is shared between the 200NS and the duke, its from earlier 4 holes hub. The change was made for the duke to cut costs but the same was not done for the 200NS so check before you invest in a six hole sprocket or you'll be stuck with an unusable spare.

Re: World of Sprockets!
Hello guys, I recently got a pre worshipped Hero HF Deluxe for intra-city commuting. I used Pulsars since last five years and wanted to try out a light motorcycle. I want to have tall gearing, more relaxed driving in 4th gear. It appears the stock setup is 14-44 with 106 links and 428 pitch. What can be a direct swap?

Hello guys,i own a 2011 pulsar 220F which has clocked 21450kms,recently there is some noise coming from the chain,my mechanic told me the chain might be hitting up and down, even the chain setting is right,he told me to change the sprocket.Bike's pickup is still the same, there is no loss in pickup. Is it okay if i change the sprocket in next service i.e after 1000kms,or i need to change it now asap. Will not changing the sprocket now harm my bike's engine??

The culprit here is, swing arm rubber cover whose work is avoid chain & swingarm contact .if that rubber gets torn ,it makes sound like hammeringOriginally posted by Mandar64 View PostHello guys,i own a 2011 pulsar 220F which has clocked 21450kms,recently there is some noise coming from the chain,my mechanic told me the chain might be hitting up and down, even the chain setting is right,he told me to change the sprocket.Bike's pickup is still the same, there is no loss in pickup. Is it okay if i change the sprocket in next service i.e after 1000kms,or i need to change it now asap. Will not changing the sprocket now harm my bike's engine??

1. How many kms have you covered on that chain?
2. need pictures of front & rear sprocket teeth for better assessment.
3. has it reached the max limit of chain-slack-adjuster-nut? photos of rear axle nut area please.
4. photo of chain slider too, if that's being suspected.
I think you mean chain-slider:Originally posted by vvk1987 View PostThe culprit here is, swing arm rubber cover whose work is avoid chain & swingarm contact .if that rubber gets torn ,it makes sound like hammering

Re: World of Sprockets!
Not sure if its the correct thread or not, but here it goes:
I'm planning on painting the rear sprocket of my Duke 200 to maybe silver or orange color. I don't have any prior experience in painting metal or painting altogether, but I'm certainly aware of the process i.e.
1. Sandblasting the metal surface to get a clean and uniform surface to settle the paint on.
2. Powder coat OR spray paint the surface by masking the tooth part of the sprocket.
Would be carrying out the process on weekends. Is there anything else I should take care of, or modify the process.?

Re: World of Sprockets!
Sprocket change is the only way to enhance performance without engine mods i guess
. I own r15 v2 with around 3000 kms on the ODO. After riding a duke and getting pissed by few of them flying by,the mod bug got to me. What do u guys suggest for a sprocket change?I am looking to undergear the bike so that the acceleration is improved atleast to 80kmph mark, compared to stock. With the sprocket change , is engine braking going to take a hit?And do i have to rev the engine more compared to the stock setup?

Re: World of Sprockets!
Bro, with the under gearing ur bike top will take a toll...the unique power of r 15 at top end will be gone. The engine will strain more than stock setup. But acceleration will definitely improve and so the back torque. My advice donot under gear it.Originally posted by keviv View PostSprocket change is the only way to enhance performance without engine mods i guess

Atleast u can try one teeth less rear sprocket if available so that top end doesn't affect much

Re: World of Sprockets!
Hi
I want to change the sprockets of my 200NS to make it go at lower revs, at my usual cruising speed of 60-80. I think I can go for the 36 teeth rear sprocket from the 220 DTSi. Please confirm. The present front sprocket is 14T, I would like to change that to 15T if possible. From which bike can I get that? I am not worried either about acceleration or top speed. Just want to decrease the rpms at cruising speed because 80% of my riding is highways

Re: World of Sprockets!
Pulsar 220 has 4 sprocket holes and P200 NS has six. So, fitment will not be directly possible. Meanwhile, I'm not aware of any six hole rear sprocket below 39 teeth, so the road looks tough.Originally posted by krixna View PostHi

A front 15 teeth from the .520 pitch has not been found since ages. If it would've been found, we would have overgeared P220 long ago.---
