Now that you have done it, just keep an eye on that link. The sealed chains have no links and hence all the joints are under the same stress. But with a link present, it will be the weakest point in the whole chain.

    Ride safe and have fun.

Had to remove 6 links from the new duke chain. Got it done from a KTM service guy from Wakadewadi service center.
Thanks buddy for the information. I've created a new section for P180 UG4, (and added credits to you) in the first post of this thread.
We have a good knowledge base for changing chain sprockets, all at one place.

Not sure about the seal on the O-ring though. Wish you best of luck. Keep an eye open.

Honda Unicorn 1st and 2nd Gen: Stock Setup: 15/42
Honda Unicorn 3rd/4th onwards: Stock Setup: 15/43

Direct Fits - With Chain pitch .428 (Unicorn Chain)
Front 14T from Hero Honda Ambition/CBZ/Xtreme
          with Rear 38T (Ambition)
          with Rear 46T (CBZ Classic)

With Chain Pitch .520 (Karizma chain):
          13T/40T of Karizma
          13T(ZMA)/38T(P200)

Ambition, cbz sprockets won't fit with unicorn's shaft. Because, unicorn's shaft size is 20/17/4. But cbz & ambition has 20/16/4.

^ Guys, for now I have removed the line from the first post, but can you clarify if an older model of either bikes came with a front that fits?

I don't remember the person who contributed this info to me, so can't correctly pinpoint how this was discovered by that person.

Go for smaller rear sprocket if you can manage a fit.You are already using 15t front.

Yes the late 2014 model of duke 200 comes with duke390's 6 hole sprocket setup. I saw a new and old bike and difference was evident.

not much difference in acceleration, but top end is greatly improved

If your rear sprocket and the chain are too old, it is good to change as a set. Else if it's ridden for less kms like maximum 1000kms ... Its OK to change the front sprocket alone. Front sprocket is available separately. Ask any two Wheeler spare parts dealer as inner sprocket. I think cbz xtreme has 14t at front. If you change 15t, You will gain top speed. Lose some acceleration.
