Looking for a replacement to my LS2 helmet, something that is lighter and has a wider range of vision.

The ones that I checked THH, HJC Kyt are either heavier or range of vision is nowhere as wide as I want.

I loved Nolan helmets I saw at Planet DSG. I may probably pick one of those.

Any suggestions regarding helmets is most welcome.

Chinmay , i think for good range of vision, i found the agv to be really the best , do check out the k3 series. I have also done a review on it where the field of vision i pointed to be a big positive.

If you are interested i will add the link here.

Hi Krish..Sure, please post the link. I checked the price of Nolan online yesterday and they were priced at 25000 +. My budget is sadly 10-12K.

My bike completed a year. I bought it when it was three months old. It had approximately 3000 km on the odometer. I am very pleased with the bike. I upgraded from a zmr. I have been using bikes from an age of 15. The bike is butter smooth and is smooth even at the red line. The spare parts are expensive and hard to get. The service centre will not have anything in stock. Now the bike completed 11k kilometres. The bike des not have any issues. When the rc was launched I had thoughts of selling the ninja and get the rc. The sole reson was the price of the spare parts but after thinking for long I dropped the idea. If you get the rc you mey get a faster bike but you will lose the exclusivity. The celebrity treatment you receive while riding this bike, oh my god I can't explain it.

Ninja owners from Mumbai, care for a ride this weekend. There is a long holiday from Thursday. Lets ride on Friday or Saturday morning. A small 150-200 KM round trip. May be to Charoti or Igatpuri.

              Hi All,
I purchased a Puig Tank Pad from A.H Helmets. Jogeshwari Mumbai. I liked the style.
First mistake made was it not sticked to the centre of the tank but still started living with it since it was not so noticeable in Side Stand. To my surprise a week ago I found a air bubble in the tank Pad in the morning and by noon it totally got peeled off from the tank. Now don't know want to do. I don't want to stick it with Fevi quick or some thing because it will spoil my tanks paint. So what is the option available?.
Is there any solvent which can be used to re-stick it again?.
The tank Pad was sold to me at 1500 Rs. Now I have a doubt that the one sold to me was original or not? How do I find this?.

              Thanks in Advance.

There was nothing wrong with the tank pad. Before sticking the tank pad the area where the tank pad was to be place should be cleaned throughly. Wax, polish, dirt, etc., inhabit the adhesive from creating a proper bond. Once the bonding is not proper, moisture, heat and dirt progressively make the adhesive bond weak and the peeling starts. No matter how much you try to stick it back the tank pad will simply come off.

Therefore, you need to clean the area where the tank pad is to be placed throughly with a cleaning agent. Many tank pads makers recommend cleaning the area with a swab of cleaning alcohol to ensure the area is clean and dry. I would not recommend that you try to reapply the tank pad unless you can clean the tank pad of all the old adhesive and use a glue that is compatible.

Essentially, get a new tank pad and make sure that you apply it as per the instructions given on the back of the packing.

Is there any option to re-stick it?. Like a glue Coat again and stick. or some thing like a spray adhesive?

One important thing I forgot to say is the tires. 2015 models abroad got new Dunlop TT900 GP tires . As per my inquiry , service manager told me that the IRC's are way too much in stock in India. Current owners arent considering IRC's on their tyre change too and going for other brands which helped the numbers grow. So after they clear the stock of IRC , the bike will come with Dunlop TT900 GP tires. Mostly early next year only.

                                Attaching the tyre pics.
