Hey. Please tell me the cost of Ninja spareparts. A mechanic was telling me that the spareparts are expensive and cost of servicing is high for a N300.
Currently own a D390 and looking to upgrade to N300 or a R3 (if it comes to India). Cost and availability of spares is a point of consideration for me. Since the D390 uses most of Bajaj spares, it is easily available and relatively inexpensive.
Going over the thread I do see very happy Ninja riders which is very heartening.
Please shed some light on maintaining a N300. Thanks.
There is no better therapy than riding a bike down a straight road at full throttle with the sound of the engine for company.

            Thanks.
Still doesn't give the fairing costs.
Have heard that the brakes and tires of the N300 are not good. Comments from owners?
IRC tyres are more expensive than the Metz. Any better alternatives available?

Seriously???? There are 1129 posts in this thread before your post and you could not find the answer to queries or is it that you are too lazy to go through them to find the answers? Owners have take the trouble to record their experiences on this thread and to help people make informed choices, the least you could do was to go through them before asking questions for which answers are already provided for by the owners of bikes.

                Okay Sir!!
I got my answers. Thanks for taking time out to write a big post and guiding me to search the thread.
Would be great if you could have taken the same time and given a few suggestions on the bike.
People have asked me about bikes before on xbhp and I have replied as many times as I could.
Its like getting fever and asking a doctor for medicine and he tells you 'Bhai. You do not know about crocin'.
Would be great if you could help with some insights than ask me to search the thread which I have done anyway.
                Peace Out Brother.
                Cheers!

Went through most of the thread as advised! Was good to see glad owners reviewing the bikes.
Did not hear any one really complain about the brakes or tires which is good.

Wanted to know if the 2015 model is on sale now or is a newer model expected? I have been quoted 3.98 L and change for N300 in Hyderabad.

It is the 2015 model on sale, with Green Ninja logo on White tank and opposite on the Green Ninja. The tyres are still from IRC unlike elsewhere in the world where it is Dunlop.

As mentioned before, go for the Zero Dep Insurance if you are opting for one as it would give you better peace of mind at INR 400-700/-

Hey guys. Am in a bit of a dilemma as there is no N300 available for a test ride. Considering my build - 6'2" and nearly 100 kgs, would the bike be comfortable?
Also, I could see the ground clearance is low. Is there a scraping problem while going over bumps?

I guess you can check the riding posture by sitting on the bike at the showroom. For the scraping part, since the rear shocks preload can be adjusted there shouldn't be much problems.

Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Nicely put. What is the benefit of having so called experts or experienced persons here if they suggest newbies to roll their eyes through 100 odd pages just to find an answer to their query and yet you call that an advice!!!

I hope he understood your point

Its not actually to find 'an' answer. If you go through all the pages , you can get to know more about the bike, the good, the bad and/or solutions for various problems related to the bike. So once you pop up with any of those issues in the future , you dont have to come here and ask rather you can just remember what you read and act accordingly. There's a reason all these pages are saved. Or else it could have been made in a way that it gets auto deleted after a day or two. All these threads are like a hard disk which has more information than a human brain can store.
Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

The bike doesnt "fit" me ergonomically, im 6"1'. Try riding once before buying.
