Re: 2013 kawasaki ninja 300 - rush is addictive
I had read about 10W40 already in the manual. I have a Wurth chain clean and lube with me so wondering if I should carry it with myself for the service. I am more inclined towards using Mobil 1 against motul as it has a better grading and life than motul (personal experience).Originally posted by arunrk85 View Post

Re: 2013 kawasaki ninja 300 - rush is addictive
Does any body know what is happening at the Kawasaki plant, because now its now close to one and a half month post their launching the 300 and close to 2 months since a lot of bookings but they still have not been able to send one single bike to any tier 2 or 3 city till date for delivery to customers ( though only the display bikes have reached at some places). Its only the lucky few at the tier 1 cities who have got delivery. Even in the metros the delivery has been very sluggish. I guess the bubble of all the fanfare with which they launched the bike is almost bust now. Even the managers at the probiking showrooms have no clue as to when they can start recieving the bikes. Their excuse every time is that there is some problem in Pune hence the delay. I wonder what marketing strategy Bajaj is adopting for the Ninja, because at this rate i wonder how can they reach out to their customers.

Re: Picked up my baby!!!
^^^ congratulations. I see that you have taken delivery of your bike from the Vashi showroom with the temp number. Did they complete the registration formalities or did they ask you to take that upon yourself?Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.

Re: Picked up my baby!!!
Hi abhimanyu31, Thanks a lot. They are going to complete all the registration formalities, but I need to take the bike to the RTO myself.
Thanks arnavsameer, I've only ridden the bike for about 40kms till now due to work, but What I can say is there is a vast difference between the two. The extra 50cc may seem paltry on paper, but out on the road, the immediate acceleration and the pickup is vastly superior from that of the 250. On the 250 things are pretty dead till about 6000+rpm, not on this machine. It also feels a lot lighter to ride. And don't even get me started on the looks... It makes the 250 look Boring, and that's a good looking bike in its own right. Riding position is largely unchanged and so has the discomfort of the stock seat. Suspension seems slightly improved, but I need to ride more to get a real feel of that. Will post a more detailed report as and when I can.Now offering Tyga Performance products in India - Brought to you by Midnight Trades

Are you planning on getting angel eyes and projectors for the 300? Also, could you let me know from where you got the angel eyes fitted on the 250? I might go for an akraprvic later this year and angel eyes next year. Just wanted to know where I could get it done.

Honestly, I'm not too sure. I currently have an AreaP exhaust on pre order, so I'll install that when I get it I guess...Originally posted by arunrk85 View PostCongratulations!!! Saturday meet looks more and more appealing. Safe ride...

Re: Picked up my baby!!!
Congrats mate on the little ninjette. And you definitely have made a very good choice by selecting area p. The customer support is second to none. The best part about the maps once u install the exhaust and tuner is its completely customized for your setup and area.Originally posted by psych0hans View Post

Re: 2013 kawasaki ninja 300 - rush is addictive
Seems to be a little confusion here. There is no planned meet this saturday. Only that few of us would like to. Usman suggested a ride this weekend for which I'm ready. I'll pm guys who own the 300 in Mumbai area and see if we can meet up this weekend and post here once something is concrete.

Re: 2013 kawasaki ninja 300 - rush is addictive
Finally, I have been able to get the bike out on the road. A lot has already been said as far as initial riding experience is concerned, so I will not repeat the same. I will just say that Kawasaki's 4,000 rpm running in recommendation is quite ridiculous! There is no way that one can shift at 4,000 and load the engine. It amounts to babying the bike.
Some pics:
Have also ordered the AreaP fueling unit? Personally, though I understand that the Area P exhaust may give the best results I am not going for the same as its too loud and does not come with a db insert. I have taken the decision to go for the Leo Vince LVI full exhaust with Area P fueling unit.Originally posted by psych0hans View Post

Re: 2013 kawasaki ninja 300 - rush is addictive
Will be interested to know your view regarding its handling with respect to the R15. how's the grip from the tires? how's it at cornering? can it match the R15's cornering speed? (mid corner, not corner exit speed of course) :-)Originally posted by abhimanyu31 View PostFinally, I have been able to get the bike out on the road.
