For khat sound (chain slapping)it can not be rectified..I tried a lot but still on potholes it comes and for seat I added some 3 inch of foam and it worked really well. Got it done from seat makers tell them to add 3 inch of soft foam on existing seat and then cover it from leather cloth which yhey use to make covers for seats..

Whoa! 3 in a lot of height. almost 75mm. does it not make the seating much higher? Also, do you mean you add foam on the existing seat, without removing the OEM seat cover? In that case, the foam will have to be glued to the OEM seat cover, isnt it? I myself want to do some exploration with the seat, but want to procure a spare seat for that. Want to keep the stock as it is, just in case.

And yeah, the Khat sound is very annoying, and i have not been able to ignore it even after 9k kms. have they rectified these niggles in the newer lot? comments from a new owner would be helpful.

I have had 3 leaks on the same fork so far and have only 1300kms of warranty left.

When I asked the svc guys about the changes, all they replied was that they tightened the spring inside the forks. See this is why I said they gave a vague answer as I do not know how the tightening of a spring would keep the seals from breaking. Add to that the fact that the spring in my other fork is still the same, so, my guess is it would provide uneven damping on both forks, isn't it?

By the way, I thought you had already completed 10K kms, so how come you have 1300 kms remaining in warranty?

My 390 is a week old and almost 700 km covered, till now no problem has been faced by me and the KHAT sound which you are referring is also absent.

The problems other owners are facing, i think it's rectified in 2014 production batch atleast at my place no such issues were found or heard by other 390 owners.

Already changed at 15k...tyres at 14k..rear mrf front tyre is sports demon

Now i am also confused whats making the noise in your. My bike is also making this noise and i will get the slider changed, because when i was at 6k i started getting this noise and i changed the slider and noise went away.

Bhai that sound comes when chain slapps under the swingarm, when the chain is loose it slapps more so I alwys tighten my chain timely. I checked it by slaping chain beneath the swingarm and the same sound come.

No, as i haven't heard anyone having battery related problems as of yet !

Just try and remove the tyre hugger. You will be pleasantly surprised.

I used to get it till my helmet when I used a short tail tidy. But now again switched to the stock mud guard and now the spray is till the rear seat.
No tyre hugger in both cases.
