The bike needs new set of tires. Any suggestions? I understand the power of Metz and it cannot be compared with any other brand, however, I'm looking for any alternatives if present. No off road tires.

Go for the Metz again. You will regret it if you went for something else during the Lavasa visits.!!!!Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View PostThe bike needs new set of tires. Any suggestions? Use a 'Bindi' (the ones Women use for their forehead) and stick it on the inside of the flap. This Stops vibrations from that area. I tried and tested and it works.Originally posted by Balgi View PostWhere can we get these? Can I use TVS Tru Spray for cleaning and lubing the chain? Coz that is the only spray available here. What other sprays can I use apart from OKS and Yamalube?

Get a Motul chain cleaner and Motul Chain lube online. Then get some kerosene/used engine oil and used toothbrush. Clean the chain using the engine oil and toothbrush. Then use Motul. You can get Motul online if not available locally.Originally posted by sharathchandra View PostCan I use TVS Tru Spray for cleaning and lubing the chain? Coz that is the only spray available here. Nothing like the Bengali Bindi's. Could not get one in Hyderabad though. Using three tiny ones. IIRC the michelin's come in one size smaller i.e140 instead of 150 (for the rear). why not go with the mrf's that come on the d200? But i noticed that these mrf's aren't good in the wet from my recent ride in the rains on my d200. But again it might be because my tires are only 550km old and might need a few more kms of run in.Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View PostWay costly. Why would you use used engine oil to clean the chain? Just stick to kerosene or diesel. After cleaning, ensure you wipe the chain, otherwise when you lube it, its not going to be effective.Originally posted by mustang28 View PostGet a Motul chain cleaner and Motul Chain lube online. Also i noticed that the rolon chain lube felt more stickier than the oks that is used at the asc. The oks i think is cheaper than rolon and motul.
And the tvs tru spray is also supposedly good enough based on what i have read about it.
The bottom line for me, use some decent brand that is the cheapest and do the clean/lube at regular intervals.

What?! They are available in Lal bazaar, and neredamet areas. You should try looking in Bengali areas of the city to find them. The above are some you can start with.
