Not if its imported. The ktm svc gets IXIL exhaust for a whopping 24k. Akrapovic is not a stock pipe. A stock pipe for ktm should be about 15-18k INR.

Not IXIL. Granted IXILL is not mapped but it is approved and shipped on demand by ktm. In any case I don't favour anything but stock but among after market brands I'd pay for akrapovic with my eyes closed.

Cool down mate! Congrats for the exhaust but you must learn to take on a light hearted banter in a friendly way.Originally posted by Nikhil Deshpande View PostNo interest in answering off topic Q. Will u get the exhaust in any state?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Oh no they are not official exhausts. The dealers do offer them. But since its ktm dealers I thought they would not supply sub-standard parts.

Nikhil Deshpande : Congrats man! How did you get it to India btw? They dont sell it officially here.
And guys, yes it costs around 75k incl customs and stuff. It is that expensive
It would be great if you could provide a break up of how much the actual cost was & the customs etc.

Akra is kTM OEM part, are other exhaust the same?if not why do dealers offer them
Why is tuned engine mapping important
Your stock ECU is calibrated to suit your unmodified engine and as soon as you make any changes that improve airflow through your engine, the factory tuning may not be accurate. If you are considering basic bolt-on modifications such as an exhaust and air filter then your bike will still run but your tune may no longer be correct. In this case it is worth having your tune checked on our dyno to make sure it is safe.
At best you will not be getting the most out of your engine and at worst you may be causing expensive damage.
I got it from Australia MateLast edited by Nikhil Deshpande; 10-28-2014, 08:40 PM.

Well that's news to me!Originally posted by Eshan-P180 View PostI hope you know they are no more available in KTM SVC, now you can only buy them through authorised dealers selling metzellers in India. Thats the latest intel on tires.
Any idea where these authorized dealers are located ? Most of the stores selling Metzlers outside are generally on the pricier side.REVVADDICT
