From what ive read on international forums, the Akra remap can only be done by KTM. Since Akras are not available as an Indian powerpart, no one here would have the map/tools for the remap. Id suggest you check with the reseller who sold you the exhaust on the best way to proceed on your install.

The 15 minute idle reset does apparently help to some extent but many users abroad have found that the true potential of the exhaust can only be noticed post the correct remap.

All the best with your setup though. I personally would kill to have an akra exhaust if i could afford it.

I agree it needs a remap form what i have read on other forums --reset the ECU and installed the Akrapovic map and the change is big. Now not a huge gain in HP but I can't believe how smooth and linear the power is now. It pulls strong from bottom right through to redline, also now no jerking at low revs and the flat spot I had at around 8000rpm is totally gone.

Isnt this a full system and not just a slipon?
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle!

The syock ecu might adjust itself a bit. But its not some tuning done automatically. Its just a system in the fi to adjust itself to varying conditions like atmospheric pressure and all. Atleast that's what i have heard. Not sure if its true.

Engine mounts from side broke and the suspension extender bracket broke. Suspension was stock though.

My rear tyre will be due for a change soon. I don't wanna downsize. Is there any other brand which provides a 150 mm tyre?

Most would have gone riding, the others went to svc with issues on their 390's and the remaining few went the RC way.

Michelin, Pirelli, MRF, Dunlop, IIRC. Take your pick.
Personally I would go for Michelin or IIRC.

Any 'jugaad' for the fuel cap vibrations. Happening a lot recently. Someone would have played with it in the parking lot..
There is no better therapy than riding a bike down a straight road at full throttle with the sound of the engine for company.

No such jugaad yet. Though a member suggested putting a piece of double sided tape on the fuel cap under the key hole cover to reduce vibrations.

Michelin, MRF, Dunlop, Pirelli are locally available in big brand tyre shops and to the best of my knowledge IIRC is available online and in very select few sports riding accessories shops on order.
Anyone know anywhere else its available?
My suggestion. Get the Michelin sport slicks or mrf revz-s.

For same dimension you have the MRF revs on the 200, but the bike will be a lot less fun and won't have that stcky nature into the corners which you might be used to with the metzs.
Then a few guys have used the Michilin Pilot street, and the reviews are mixed in nature, though the rear size is downsized by 10 mm, the profile is 10 mm more than the current spec so it takes a similar shape and no noticeable difference will be found.
