Re: KTM Duke 390 - Owners Reviews and Experiences
Go ahead and get the osram/phillips.Originally posted by Saba View PostHi guys.I want to change the headlight of my duke 390.I am not looking for projectors or hid's.I just want a stock replacement bulb.I want a bulb with the same wattage.I want it to standout from the normal halogen lights.A whiteish or blueish light would work out.whats the difference between philips xtreme and osram nightbreaker plus? Thanks.
I have been using phillips extreme vision for 4 months and I can say that its way better than stock bulb.

I have been using the Philips Xtreme vision and is totally satisfied. The beam is regular yellowish but much much brighter than the stock bulb and also has a more wider spread. Nightbreaker is also equally good.Originally posted by Saba View PostHi guys.I want to change the headlight of my duke 390.I am not looking for projectors or hid's.I just want a stock replacement bulb.I want a bulb with the same wattage.I want it to standout from the normal halogen lights.A whiteish or blueish light would work out.whats the difference between philips xtreme and osram nightbreaker plus? Hi,
Just got the Osram NightBreaker Plus bulb installed at the Goregaon service center. They did it for free. The original bulb is also a German made Osram 55/60. However, there is a HUGE difference in the amount of light the NBP puts out. Very happy with the NBP overall.
Waiting for it to get dark to check the final results
. Thanks guys for all your advice. Cheers!!

What is the cost of the bulb and did you get single bulb or in pair? I was told they only sold in pair and about 1500 for a pair for both osram night breaker and philips xtreme vision.Originally posted by The Pain View PostHi,

And also do give a review, once you are done testing. I wonder if the light is whitish in colour.

They are only sold in pairs. I paid around 1200/- for the pair. The other bulb is being used on my Karizma so its money well spent. The light is definitely whiter than stock.Originally posted by berudulom View PostWhat is the cost of the bulb and did you get single bulb or in pair? 300v 15w50. Is absolutely fine. The number to focus on here is the 50 which denotes the performance of the oil in heated operating conditions. The number before w (15 or 10)denotes the min temp for the oil to circulate in cold conditions in India this almost is irrelevant depending on where u live or ride.Originally posted by backlash4u View PostGuys. Those who have used 300v. What grade are u using? Its 10w50 on the manual. But 300v is available as 15w50.. Pls reply.
